    exactly. it would be ridiculous to spend money we don''t have. i am by no means happy by the present performances, but i would prefer to have my football club existing for the rest of my lifetime than gamble on more success in the short term.

    If the Turners or other suitable investors want to invest, then it would be great. Until then, however, i fail to see what more the board can do.

    Well Ipswich have done it, and Leeds, and the way things are going we''ll be below both next season!

    No I mean outside the stadium...  Obviously I''m not stupid enough to suggest or think we could milx fans during the match... But outside there''s not going to be a problem.  They grouped together the fans (like they do when we are at portman road) and marched them to their coaches which I Think is ott.  But if you were an ipswich fan in a car you could walk around the stadium past the norwich fans.

    Also, I mean you see other derbys kicking off 3pm on a sat (I know this one was different as it was on sky before you say) but they seem to think norwich and ipswich fans are so bad it needs moving to a sunday, when there are worse fans than us.

    I''m sorry but I really cannot see how ou relate me saying there''s too many police and its ridiculous to ''we should mix the fans'', it''s a strange one, oh well.

    I kind of agree, nobody complains when other sports players earn millions - or indeed popstars.  And really there isn''t much difference... Sports players train during the week and play their match or whatever at the weekends, like footballers..  Pop stars tour and promote and everything which many players in the top clubs do.

    I''ve not heard anyone complain about tiger woods getting more money from nike for wearing their gear and stuff, than actually winning a golf tournement.  It seems there''s just something against footballers, I really have no idea what.

    Having said that, they do earn a ridiculous amount of money and  I understand why many people think they earn to much.  It''s a hard one, both viewpoints are valid.

    Wiz I am convinced we would be worse off without marshall, he''s about the only good thing we''ve got!

    I thought our main scout was Alan Wood?  He''s pretty pants though.

    Gunny should not be on the dugout, the fact he is ways a lot!

    I''m not wrong,QXV0t as I disagree with you - to be honest I agree with a lot of what you say Wiz.  I don''t see how any of the other scottish players are worse than the english ones or whatever, they are all awful!

    To be fair, Wizzy, I think Marshall''s been about our only good player this season!  I can think of several times he has got us a few points, and stopped us losing by more goals this season.  And Lappin and Fotheringham look like decent squad players, who with the right players could do a very good job.  And Lappin is better than drury at left back!

    I assume in the ''joke of a No2'' you mean Mr Gunn - he is a legend and should not be spoken of like that imo, but I know where you''re coming from.  I just hope his stint on the coaching side doesn''t sour what he''s done for the club as I worry it could.  Fleck, why the heck have you included him?  He does nothing with the club now, or does he?  (I''m not totally sure)

    But I get your gist, I remember when Leicester had Craig Levein as their boss, he bought plenty of players from Scotland and they nearly got relegated then he was sacked - what is happening now here!

    I''ve read lotsa posts saying that delia didn''t save the club, and some saying she did.  The whole chase saga came when I started liking football and I can''t really remember it. I started going in 96/97 and can''t remember when or what Delia might or might not have done.

    Pleaes could somebody explain what actually happend with Chase selling and Delia joining, whenever she did?

    By the way, I''m not one of the people who thinks the sun shines out of deliars bum, complete opposite in fact, I''d just like some clarification.
