Olof Mellberg recently agreed to join Juventus on a bosman. And in recent years Steve McMannaman has gone to Real on a bosman and Sol Campbel joined Arsenal.
As they''re bosman and free I suppose you wouldnt want them either (well players of similar calibre as they were in their time)
-
Last night on SSN Phil Thompson said they budget for quarter finals of every competition, so if they don''t get through maybe the problems will start to happen. Leeds style collapse, no, but who knows what will happen.
I love it when they do badly, but still don''t bring people like carragher down to earth though.

We''re almost turning into Wolves fans!
I''ll never forget the "You''ve failed us again" after we beat them in the playoffs!
-
We lost, dreadful performance it was too, but why all this extreme negativity?
It''s almost like some people thought we''d go unbeaten forever, it was going to end some day! But of course the usual suspects are already on glenns back, you''d have thought they''d give him a chance. But I guess we''ve lost our third game since he joined (in the league) and a few people already are saying he''s useless.
He''s not perfect. We''re not perfect. Leicester had a good day, we didn''t. Bring on Blackpool.
To be fair, in the end it ended up as 4 as we went for broke 3-3-3, It was obvious we''d be caught out! I''d rather get thrashed going for it than just defending!
Don''t take me as an apologist or sheep or whatever, I''m very much against the board, but Roeder has to be given time. Where were most off this squad not very long ago? They''re allowed an off day every once in a while, they are human after all!

I was thinking the same mook.
From what I saw it looked like 6 of one half a dozen of the other
-
Had it been the other way round, you can be sure the United fans would not have respected it so well! -
Nope and I won''t be purchasing one. -
Is it online anywhere? -
Why they ever appointed Bryan Robson I''ll never know he''s never achieved anything as a manager. Apart from relegating middlesbrough, getting them promoted again, spending millions to finish mid-table, relegating bradford! -
I''m afraid I agree with the others, I despise West Ham. But, in answer to your question, I think we can join you, we''ve got as good a chance as anyone now, but I don''t think we''re good enough. -
ref mr singh was poor (by all accounts)
the next main poster put "his hat got in the way"
I agree with you that the people who mentioned it were racist, but the ones that just complained about the ref being bad I don''t see0Wow they''re racist.
-
as i said, if the referee was say clattenburg we wouldnt have this topic to start with
If Clattenburg performed as badly as he did, I''d hope there was this topic. As far as I''m aware I''ve read a few racist comments (that shouldn''t be allowed) like the hat, and the 2 about that cricketer... But most people don''t seem to be racist... Unless your saying that we''re not allowed to complain about him as he''s sikh! He was poor full stop and would have been whatever race he was.
-
we8wba.... If you were merely saying we''re too relient on Hucks I doubt people would have disagreed as it''s been the case ever since he joined (minus the promotion season he just guaranteed it).... But knowing you I doubt you just said that. -
I left early 2 or 3 times in the Grant reign, first time ever. But it was due to awful matches when I''d knew we''d lost. And it was only after the amount of stoppage time had been announced, so not ages. I''d never do that! -
During this time players like hughes lappin robinson brennan brellier stravhaka javis eagle mackenzie & brown have been brought or used to replace the quality of players
Call me pedanti0W2C but Brennan was signed the summer before Huckerby came!
-
Funny his (according to him) greatly better team are only 5 points ahead of us.... -
Isn''t his contract up at the end of the season? -
Oh dear Wiz, that almost made me laugh! -
I can''t find a pic, but Nicky Byrne from Westlife looks a bit like David Beckham sometimes! -
1 Stefan Kuntz
The former German international was a key figure at Euro 96 for both his team and the British tabloids.2 Milan Fukal
The Czech defender was once on trial with Leeds and linked with a move to Manchester City but has since gone on to do Fukal. He now plays for hometown club FK 97.3 Quim
The Portuguese keeper is actually called Joaquim Manuel Sampaio da Silva, but uses his nickname blissfully unaware at the delight he provides for English-speaking fans.4 Ars Bandeet
This one could be an urban legend, but apparently this was the name of an Algerian international in the 1970s.
5 Johan de Kock
From a possible cock and bull story to a plain old Kock story. The former Dutch international is another Euro 96 veteran. He won the Uefa Cup with Schalke in 19976 Danny Shi ttu
The Nigerian international was recently relegated from the Premier League with Watford. The 6ft 3in is used to entertaining Football League stadium announces from his time with QPR.7 Chiqui Arce
Another example of a Latin footballer exacerbating an already humorous name. Paraguay international Francisco Arce at one point had his name as Chiqui Arce on the back of his shirt.8 David Goodwillie
Goodwillie became the youngest scorer in the SPL when he scored for Dundee United against Hibs in March. Now aged 18, Goodwillie will be entertaining fans for many years to come.
9 Rafael Scheidt
He''s Scheidt and he knows he is. Rafael was signed for Celtic by the equally Scheidt management duo of Kenny Dalglish and John Barnes for £5 million. He started just one game and was shipped out by Martin O''Neill.10 Segar Bas tard
Bastard played for Upton Park and England in the late 19th century. He went on to become a referee and was therefore quite literally the Bastard in the black. -
I''m with Drinkell, I think it is cringeworthy whoever says it.. No other clubs do it so why do we need too, we not children! Maybe it''s because we''re a ''family club'' and that''s why... But i hate it.
I''d love Daydream Believer to return though!
-
Signed. Fingers crossed! -
im not taking piss here
but wolves v norwich early on the season was very very one sided. you had one shot and almost took out corner flag and we should done you 8-0 if we wernt so crap in front of goal! your lucky you got away with that scoreline considering how both teams played. how time changes though!
I was there, Wolves weren''t great that day, just we gave what must be the worst performance I''ve ever seen in my life. We made you look good by are appaulingness (duno if thats a word) - but it was even worse than the 6-0 fulham defeat
-
Footballers will often kiss the badge knowing the fans like it, I''m sure I read an interview with someone where it was said players do just do it as it makes them look good to the fans!
Is Norwich a BIG or a small Club?

To me you''re only as good as your last season.
If you get 50 fans or 50 thousand fans, where you finish in the league is the only judge as that will tell you how consistent you have been.
To a degree, anyone can win a cup, but it''s no surprise it''s usually the big 4 as they''re the 4 biggest clubs!
