  1. He left because he apparently wanted to be closer to his family in Luton.

Surely he would''ve known he would be away from his family when he joined? Or his wife should accept you get a lot of perks being with a footballer, so should accept moving around.

It''s about an hour longer to get to Luton from here than Coventry, but still, its less than 2.5 hours.

  2. I don''t believe he is. For the simple reason, a few years ago, for my sins, I watched Ipswich play QPR at Portman Road (was good as they lost - it was the Sat before we played Man City infamously on the Monday - Delia).... He was dreadful that day, not particularly either way just awful.

Remember, he booked Barry Ferguson twice and didn''t send him off, in 2004 Southampton/Blackburn game.

  3. Marshall is no worse than the rest of the team, including Cureton, all of them are inconsistent.

If you''re comparing Cureton to Marshall, think how poor our defence is, most keepers would struggle not to make mistakes in front of ours. How many times did they get past our defence? Although I accept yesterdays wasn''t. Jamie has missed chance after chance - there is no way you can say he is any less responsible than Marshall.

If Marshall hadn''t made the mistake yesterday maybe we wouldn''t have lost to Bristol City, equally had Cureton not missed the sitter against Southampton we probably would have won that!

Both are guilty, but equally Marshall''s kept us in countless games this year - when Curo''s started he hasn''t kept us in games.

  4. He has to be dropped - but onto the bench.Strikers missing chances are big mistakes - when they''re paid not to miss.  If Marshall made as many mistakes in a game as Curo missed chances, he would rightly be slaughtered as we''d concede even more goals.  He would be dropped  - same should apply to Curo.I like Jamie very much, nice having a player who cares and you know puts in 100% all the time....  But, strikers are judged by goals and he''s not scoring them.  So despite his effort, he''s not doing his job.  He''s also the type of striker like Earnshaw, Owen, etc, whose only use to a team is goals - he might run about, but he''s not much use to anything but the attack (not a criticism, it''s just the sort of player he is), and if he''s not contributing very much you can''t justift playing him.I think the issue people have with you Wiz, is your blind faith in Jamie lad, who in your eyes can do no wrong, when if it was any other striker, you would be constantly slating them like you do pretty much everyone else.

  5. I think it''s great we''re trying to find players from the non-leagues - see other teams do it seems we never do but we have. Not got much to lose - as others have said I''m sure he won''t cost too much, so if he fails oh well, but if it goes well we''ve got a steal.

Remember Lee Marshall, we got him from non-league.

Question is will the majority of fans back him? I will be.

I just wait for Wizzy to slate him before he''s joined or been seen play......
