forgetting the big uns, Bayern Munich, Wembley etcmy oldest and best memories are of the game when we were promoted to the old 2nd div, stood on the old River End.Also as a teenager I used to go by train from Brandon to the games and first thing we did on leaving Thorpe Station was to cross the road to the kiosk and buy a pack of 5 Woodbines.I still think of it when I am by the riverside opposite the station. -
I understand less than 300 seats left for the West Brom game with 9 days to go could this set a new stadium record ? any idea if West Brom have sold all their allocation ? -
I think you might have got a good deal with this one, although he was never given a good enough run to be sure, Paul Lambert never rated him so perhaps.............. -
anyone got one ? -
2 - 1 to posh -
Hi Kick it off,Thanks for info re Landsdowne.I spend a lot of time in Martley, in fact going to Martley show this afternoon, then up to the Admiral Rodney and on to the Talbot at KnightwickWhere do you watch the Sky games ? we usually go to the Bar at the Harriers Arms where they have a bigish sceeen and the natives are friendly. -
hi nu_matik,You seem to have the best deal moving east while I endend up in Kidder !there are at least 10 City fans in the Kidderminster/Stourport/Bewdley area including a few from Kevin Keelans clan ( he came from Kidder )Did you know that Kidderminster Harriers recently had a comp to find a 12th man, the prize was a season ticket and it turned out that the winner was from Norwich, someone who travels the 180 miles each week to support the Harriers while I probably pass him going the opposit direction on the A 14, its a crazy world being a footbal supporter. Thanks to all for sugestions, we will probably end up on the Riverside. -
Living in Worcestershire I seldom spend Sat night out in Norwich but for the West Brom Game on Sun 11th8 of us (family) are staying overnight Sat.Where is a good place to eat we are staying near the Station so riverside would be good but we are a family group with ages from 35 to 70 so not too lively !any ideas ?Also is Landsdowne Hotel in Thorpe Rd ok as they have mixed revuesThanks -
Anyone notice Gunny at Wigan on Sat ? saw him going towards hospitality / directors entrance 20 mins before start, good to see him still interested but no sign of club colours. -
Also got my delivery today, good fit except the neck is a bit tight even though its a V -
Anyone else noted Paul Lambert is only signing /interested in players of teams that play in Blue and or White ? -

Pete, thanks for yor help today ( Sat )Bad day at the office but at least I had consolation of being in the sun at miami . -
I now looks like Holt will take future pens but might it be a good idea is Wes took one (and scored ) just in case he has to take one in the play offs, if not it might play on his mind.Idealy his next pen should be when we are 2 up to ease the presure.I would hate a repeat of cardiff -
Thanks Bloodwagon, we fly to DC, then down to stay with relatives in Charleston SC, down to the Keys, allong golf coast to Grayton Beach FL for easter week then a few days at Winnsboro LA for a few days with a long lost Aunt and Uncle, over to Tennessee ( Gatlinburg) and through the smokies and along skyline drive and ending up with a couple of days in DC and fly home the day in May. Well you did ask !! Where in Tennessee are you ? -
I will be away in the US for the last 5 weeks of season, will canary player on the Of site work over there ? I use internet explorer

I sat in the main stand (still prefer that name ) no one was booing at final whistle, I don''t think many had woke up ! last time I sit in that section.
but I was exactly in line with the pen spot and yes it was a blatant dive, if Holt had waited a split second before going down I think we might have got a penalty.

Yes, I am going, got my 2 tickets confirmed today -
They did, 3 times at least, and when holt held the mic in front of his face after his 3rd goalmuch to the amusement of the bar in tenerife where we saw tha game -

Anyone know if BBC , Anglia or Sky will cover tonights parade ? I remember when we were promoted to the prem we got a good live coverage on tv, for us living away from Norfolk it is the only way to join in.
Via satelite we can all get bbc, anglia and sky regions
Oh dear Rupert, you clearly have no idea what happened..I was nearby in the stand and these genuine long standing city fans were attacked by Bristol thugs, from behind for doing no more than cheering on thier team. the stewards were also happy to join in.you really should know the facts before making such derogatry remarks about your fellow supporters
I was on the open terrace below, they were mainly Bristol fans, several gave V signs and other gestures to us City fans below while being escorted out. Most Bristol fans were very good and wished us well next year.
