1. I wouldn''t mind if either club won promotion to the Premiership, they are both preferable to Watford (never have liked that silly little club) or Palarse any day. But I''m going to give Hull City my fullest backing, simply for the reason that they have never played in the top flight before.

your not a norwich fc supporter

Please try to read every single word that somebody writes, we8wba. He quite clearly states: "Only if he moves abroad." Now, I don''t think any of those clubs you''ve mentioned are based abroad, do you?

Whoops! Mea culpa. I missed Juventus!

  4.
....I''m expecting flames for this but I think it would be a nice protest that isn''t rude or voilent but hits the club in the pocket a little bit. I believe his release was money saving and it could well have been the right thing to do. I just didn''t like the way it was done.

It''d be a great way to keep the memory alive.

I would only do this if he went abroad.

You do what ever you want to do, mate. I think it is quite a good idea actually.

  5. I know what you''re saying, Old Boy, but there is no good reason why Roeder''s decision to release Hucks couldn''t have been announced prior to the Wednesday match - none whatsoever. I''m not 100% convinced that it would have had an adverse effect on the team''s confidence if it had been mentioned even earlier than that, but there you go. I reiterate, I hope Glenn has learnt from this and tries to handle this kind of thing somewhat better in future. These are my last words on this subject, as it is time to move on and look forward to next season now.

  6. I saw him at the fan''s forum at the recent club open day and was quite impressed by the way he spoke. He showed that he does have a sense of humour, but his clipped East London trainspotter''s voice does him no favours when it comes to people''s judgement of his character - it probably makes some think he is slightly lacking in charisma.

On the other hand, I still don''t understand why he had to shoot himself in the foot with the incompetent way in which he dealt with Huck''s departure. It was sheer folly. I only he hope he thinks about it and therefore makes a conscious decision to handle any future situations much more smoothly. That way, he will make far more friends.

  7. If Roeder doesn''t understand that he has dealt with Hucks departure abominably, then he is either thick and ignorant, or he is arrogant with a malicious streak in his character. I know which I think is more likely. He MUST have known that such a late announcement would upset the majority of City supporters. He now has a lot of hard work on his hands to win people back on his side again.

Both Adam Aiken and Iain Dale, writing in today''s EDP, are heavily critical of the way Roedent dealt with Hucks release. I assume that Dale is a Wet Sham fan. I think it''s always interesting to hear an outsiders view on controversial events at our football club and so this is an extract of what Iain Dale wrote about the Hucks situation: "Roeder had a very successful time initially, just as he did at West Ham. But the truth is that he saved Norwich from relegation by a single victory. He achieved it by bringing in a series of young loan players (ignoring home grown talent) and dumping those with experience. He did that at West Ham AND LOST THE DRESSING ROOM. We were relegated largely because he lost the respect of several of West Ham''s best players, like Paolo di Canio." We can only hope he doesn''t lose the dressing room here.

  8. In my years of driving, I have had the misfortune to come across plenty of drivers who lack the basic intelligence and common sense to be left in charge of a motor vehicle. It''s surprising the number of drivers who feel they are too good or too experienced to bother with observing all the rules in The Highway Code. I often wonder how soon after passing the driving test they gradually ignore all the good advice they have learnt. This failure to give way to oncoming traffic when the hazard is on your side is quite common. Another common bad habit, especially in Norfolk, is the tendency to never use a vehicle''s indicators - not only extremely unhelpful, but potentially dangerous to other road-users.

Anyway to return to the subject matter of this topic; yes, I agree, Sutch was undoubtedly one of the worst players ever to wear a green and yellow shirt. Worse than Hughsy in my humble opinion.
Yet another transfer target I have never heard of. What''s new?
So it''s better that we go for expensive "names" that you''ve heard of, or try and unearth gems that can develop and take the club to where it wants to be? Kind of the Arsenal blueprint.

Bet you hadn''t heard of Adebayor or Fabregas when Arsene signed them.

Our transfer policy has been really successful over the last few windows, though, hasn''t it!!?? Funny, I thought we''d only just narrowly held on to our Championship status by the skin of our teeth.

Quick! contact Guinness! this has to be a record for bringing back an old thread of mine, 3 years old, it has to be!.[:D]

    However.....

It nails once and for all the Percy''s lies and crap that it will all come good in the next transfer window.

Three years on and we''re still all waiting Percy!.[:@]

Ah but, the difference this time, Wiz, is that it hasn''t been brought back to score points over you.
