1. As more figures emerge about this saga it would appear that Mr. Cullum has not really been terribly thorough about the details of his proposal. The way the EDP worded their headline this morning, I thought the deal was done and dusted. I''m glad I didn''t buy a copy on the strength of that! It''s looking very much as though it''s a case of same as you were - onwards and upwards, prudence with ambition. It''s a bit like seeing your winning numbers for the lottery appearing on the TV screen, only to discover the dog has eaten your "winning" ticket. DAMN and BLAST!!
 2.
He speaks blithely of putting £20 million into the transfer kitty, and also not wishing to do that without taking control of the club. There is no mention of how much it would cost him in buying out the major shareholders, as well as providing the transfer funds. There''s no point in him taking over the club unless these substantial sums of money are available for the transfer budget alone. What would his total expenditure be? £40 million?
I wasn''t too far out - only £16 million as it happens!
 3. Well, it is exactly as I suspected, Mr. Cullum hasn''t really put up, so perhaps he should shut up. Why he has brought this story into the public domain - goodness only knows. He was probably prepared to add £20 million to the transfer budget provided he could buy up Delia and Michael''s shares at a bargain price.

 5.
I''m not too sure I''d accuse other teams fans of being easily wound up. Just look at the last month here. How many wind-ups have we been subjected to, including one major one from Good News Gordon, who sent both us and it seems our club into a tizzy.
I''m sure I can accuse scummer fans of what ever I want to accuse them of. In fact, as they are our most hated rivals I wouldn''t expect a debate on that score, nor any sympathy for their cause. If I accused them of an unhealthy fondness of sheep, I would expect 100% support for that view on here. Unless of course some of you like to argue the toss about anything and everything, just because you think you know best.
 6.
Are you a bit obsessed mate?
No. I''m a bit bored and the binners, when they appear on there, are easily wound up.
 7. If anybody is feeling bored enough, why not visit this almost dead scummer forum and leave a few apposite observations. Funnily enough, of the first five topic threads at the top of the board, four were started by City fans. What a crappy little message board the Green ''Un is.
 8. Does anybody have any idea how many City fans were at Wembley on that day? I was there, I hasten to add.
 9.

Went to the canaries shop in the mall today, there selling flags and banners for £5!!! who ever has season tickets should get one for next season!!! the atmosphere would be great!!!
Does your user name come from a love of Bass ale, mate? I used to love a pint of Bass on draught, but you seldom see it here in Norfolk these days.
no, i play bass guitar, and when it came to thinking of a user name i couldnt come up with anything else, lol
Thanks. I''m a little bit disappointed to hear that you''re not a fellow Bass ale lover. Still, the bass is a lovely instrument to play I should imagine.
 10.
He''s presenting a digital photography event in Currys (I have no idea why) at Norwich tomorrow. I''d guess that''s why he''s in the area...
Thanks for clearing that up, Mark.

 12.
is baby bell a cheese? yes or no
I''ve never tried it but if it says cheese somewhere on the wrapper then the answer has to be YES.
 13. That''s a small fib actually. But I did see him emerging from Yellows with a rather attractive blonde lady, so I said to him: "Have you signed up for one more year, mate?" He smiled and replied: "Nah I''m done. I''ve retired, fellah." No idea what he was doing at Carrow Road as I didn''t wish to seem too nosy and so I didn''t ask.
 14.
Well, I can safely say that most of you were not in attendance.  We did have about 10 supporters plus some of the academy coaching and ex-coaching staff on hand.  It was a superb night at George Keeley''s in NYC and I can safely say that a fun time was had by all.  If you are local and would like to know about future get-togethers, send an e-mail to info@nycanaries.com.  While we might not spend millions on strikers, we come close to it on beers.  OTBC!
I''d love to visit New York some time - maybe this year if I feel I can spare the cash. If I go there I shall have to think about arranging the trip when you have a get-together. It sounds like great fun.
 15.
We won''t be getting another keeper. Remember Roeder didn''t even bother with a keeper on the bench for a lot of home games last season. I suspect that will continue this season too.
Why bother with keepers at all? We could save quite a lot in wages that way. I think Roeder should consider having a rush-goalie - you know it makes sense LOL.
 16. I bet he''s got the touch of a rhino and is crap in the air, though.
 17.
obviously I meant Birthday!
Don''t worry, the spelling Nazis and grammar KGB are not out in force today, yet!
 18. I don''t understand why so many of you have interpreted a few throwaway remarks from Delia as this certainty that we shall now see plenty of new investment. I thought she looked distinctly uncomfortable (as I would be with 4 or 5 microphones thrust in my face, admittedly), and seemed as though she couldn''t wait to finish the interview, before she put her foot in it. My interpretation of Delia''s words: "We don''t have terribly much money to spend. We are looking around for cheap available players, and hopefully they will be somewhat better than the last bunch of freebies and bargain basement players that Worthy and Grant had to try to make do with. At this present time, there is no massive war chest set aside for playing staff. People who think that such a thing exists must be dreamers!"     I sincerely hope I''m complete wrong with my pessimistic appraisal of the present situation at Carrow Road, but I''ve always found that if you are over optimistic about anything in life, if things then turn out not as good as you had expected you have a massive disappointment. If you are as pessimistic as me, occasionally you have a lovely surprise. As Delia said: "Wait and see"
 19. I have nothing against Delia on a personal level, she seems like a nice lady, but as a senior figure on the board of NCFC she is way out of her depth in my opinion, and I would like to see big changes to the board. While this "regime" holds the purse strings the club is going nowhere - apart from steadily downhill.
 20. Has one of the board had a win on the Premium Bonds or something?
 21. It could be Gordon Brown doing a bit of trolling to take his mind off the stresses and strains of running the country.
 22.
I think it''s time to stop buying into this "peple won''t come to Norwich for geographic reasons" argument. - Grando I agree. It''s not like England is Canada and Norwich is Yellowknife, NWT, thousands of miles away from anywhere else.  Besides, there are plenty of places for footballers to relax in and around the city itself.  And who wants players on the team who are more interested in their social life than in the jobs, anyways?
The trouble is a lot of foolish English people believe that England is a big country, and let''s face it, rightly or wrongly footballers are not regarded as being amongst this country''s intelligentsia. I have been aware for a long time (since the age of about seven) that it''s not, but I was amazed to discover quite recently that even Argentina is about 11 times the size of Great Britain.
