Over the last window he saw less talented players get big moves to Premier League clubs, whilst we told Barcelona where to go when they tried to nick him. Despite what must have been a massive kick in the teeth he just goes out there twice a week and runs himself into the ground. How on earth did he recover from that nasty shin injury against Coventry to play against Luton in the next game. He shows ridiculous commitment and there was no suggestion of him thinking, hang on I need to stretch this injury out in case I cop it there again and it puts me out for weeks and scuppers any potential big move in January. He is an absolutely outstanding player, an outstanding lad and clearly puts the needs and interests of the club first over his personal interests (watch & learn Mr Cantwell). I would suggest that type of selfless commitment and professionalism is very rarely, if ever seen these days. Let’s praise him like we should and enjoy him whilst we can. What a player.
