Is there an away pub for Plymouth?
-
As a kid I used to deliver this around the Sprowston Road area. I always remember the smile I got from people waiting for my arrival when we had won, but when we had lost they wouldn't even come to the door

I will be there and I will join in the applause. I can’t imagine what you are going through

I went to school with the Proclaimers, both big Hibernian fans

It did really happen, he was on train going home to Swindon and I was returning to Harwich, I was surprised he managed to get a train so soon after the match.

I had a conversation with Simon Hooper on the train yesterday coming back from the match and he admitted to getting the Jerome decision wrong. He come across as a nice guy and I couldn’t rant at him like I thought I would.

While on the subject of tickets, I got 4 today for the Arsenal game as they have gone to general sale.
-
My partner had a Manure Norwich scarf, as she was a Utd fan when I met her. She now has a Norwich shirt and season ticket, so I just saw it as part of the weening process.

Saw the Damned several times, most recently in Leyton Buzzard c1999/2000 I think it was, they performed under a different name, some record company bullshoite they were getting round, but it was defo them and they could still knock it out.
I think they called themselves the Doomed for a while

Thank you for that Shef, it must be 30 years since I last heard it and instantly I can recall nearly every word. Classic track!

Though it hurts me to say it as I am no fan. There's a bit in Roy Keanes early career biography about his struggle to even get a trial at all with some clubs, which may show the lad that there's many a slip tween cup and lip.... and one set back just sets up the next opportunity.
Thank you for your wise words, as I really don’t have a clue how these things work. I am just happy watching him play.

It was really a tongue in cheek topic, I would be over the moon whoever he plays for! It is really just a pleasure just to see him playing and enjoying it at the moment. He is still only nine after all

My partners grandson is nine, and I have managed to convert him and his brother to City fans, both are now junior members. The youngest has just been spotted and been offered a trial for the Binners of all teams! I don’t know weather to be happy or sad

I do applaud the statement of Gary Neville but I hope he goes further and state that he will never take a penny from the new super league formed

After missing about 4 games this season already, for strikes, engineering works and now weather, I feel it maybe time to give up my season ticket!
