1. I often park 10 mins away in the sweatshop / gym carpark next to the NHS walk in centre. It''s free unless the barriers are down, but so far this year I have parked there on many Saturdays without problem. But i''ll be using the train this time so I can have a few scoops. I''ll see if I spot any city fans in Notts post game.
Not wanting to ruin your breakest again but I would consider Stephen Fry to be a British ''A'' lister....and more than that, much more than Sandra Bullock and the rest....a respected ''A'' lister.
Then you  know sweet fanny adams about celebrity ratings on a global stage.

Sir Ian McKellen, Dicky Attenbourgh and Kate Winslet are the A'' listers from these shores.
we live in Britain, so we''re not talking glabol as in "heard in the USA" are we? You can keep your A-list actors, i''d rather have a pint with Michael Palin than Tom "religious cult" Cruise any day. Both Fry and Smith and very very well know and respected in their respective fields.

So says that respected rag the EDP.

    Don''t make me laugh.

Johnny Depp, Renee Zellweger, Tom Cruise and Sandra Bullock are A'' list celebrities.

Our prize pair, might, just might, at a push scrape a Z in celebrity circles.

Get real Archant and knock off sucking up to our two Z'' listers!
no, they are American actors / actresses. However, here in the United kingdom, Stephen Fry is one our best known comedians, tv host, author and general entertainers. I know who i''d rather share a pint with!
Derrrr, that''s why it''s a stupid phrase to use.  ''A List'' is a Hollywood term.
I think in general A-list refers to a generic list of celebrities and

their respective fame. In UK terms neither Delia or Fry are exactly

z-listers are they? after all Delia has an "effect" named after her and

Fry is know to be a "national treasure" ! z-list refers to cretins off

    big brother and the like.

  5. To be fair most people expect a little bit of verbal banter during a game. But for those that sit in the predominantly quieter sections of the ground (yes they are fans too!), I think it reasonable to not have to endure 90 mins of verbal toss from some angry simpleton. I personally don''t see why people get so upset by away fans, you just end up making yourself look like an arse anyway..

  6.
You buy cheap lower league players you will struggle , Surman apart we hardly have a Championship class player in the squad .We have 4 strikers all lower league , it will be a long hard season 1-5 would have been a fairer result tonight.
you think Watford were 5-1 better? blimey, we weren''t that bloody bad.

  7.

the foul for their goal was a poor miss, he was feet away and it was clear cut. we also had a good penalty shout. Other than that he was OK. But these basic errors don''t help do they?
Where was the good penalty shout? I didnt see one myself.
93rd min, our player was floored and their player didn''t get the ball. Just a few yards out of the box too.

  8.
you cant blame the ref for that result imo. he could have given us a couple more decisions but in the end we just were not good enough against a young poor watford team which i find worrying. crofts was v good but ruddy and ward looked very very shaky
Sorry, but how are this Watfodr team poor? this is a new season, they (like us) have new players. Stop believing the tv pundits, to make us favourites was just wrong. For me it was a 50:50 game, we lost, no massive shock.

  9.
Was it just me or was the referee''s overall performance shocking, how Watford''s 3rd goal counted I will never know was a clear free kick to us, and in my opinion Holt should have had a penalty for the arms around him.

But as usual the referees wherever we go do NOT seem to change!!!!!
I was shocked at the 3rd goal, it was a clear foul. He was a typical fat baldy ref of low quality.

  10.
What a load of rubbish, if we can''t do better than that against Watford, what will happen when good teams come to Carrow Road?
i knew this would happen after 1 game. People with no posts moaning if we didn''t win. A new league, a new season, 6 new players, the pressure of being at home and on tv - let''s wait a few games before talking toss.
