Bless you and all who sail in you.

I don’t usually reply to these insipid messages about rubbish former employees but I’ll do this once.

We’ve had so many better managers; Stringer, Lambert, Walker, O’Neill etc…

    Simply put.. grow up.

    Ha

bless you my passive aggressive friend …

all those managers you mentioned are also wonderful ex managers and unfortunately we spooned it with them also.

    Common theme sadly

Off the top of my head, personally I would have Green, Ruddy, Forster and Krul as better keepers in that period

    Love the Gunns

but.. completely agree except maybe Forster

think Gunn jnr is better and has done more for us than him

gunny to save a pen in the playoffs anyone????

I'm going to a gig at the Principality at the weekend, first time back since that game. 22 years later and I'm sure it will still bring back some bad memories when I see the stadium!

Now as an exile living in Cardiff, I pass the stadium most days and it never fails to bring back memories of that sea of yellow and green before the match.

Enjoy the gig … city arms or the tiny rebel pubs are the best nearby

  5. It’s no surprise to me that no one in Cardiff really seems to support Cardiff, and even worse  In the hinterlands no one is interested in Cardiff at all… completely different to us where our support comes from far and wide.

    Very strange strange club.

Never forget when ched Evans scored that wonder goal against them in the last minute and we were all singing f?!&@3d by a Welshman, you’ve been f£&@3d by a wellllssshman!

Given the size of the area , Plymouth?

Preston...havent kicked a ball in the top division since 1961  ,where other clubs around Lancashire frequently have with the likes of Blackburn Burnley Bolton...even Blackpool and Oldham

That massive club Ipswich with all their 'history'...yet incredulously have only played in the top league for FIVE of the last 38 seasons...

That stat on the binners is quite hilarious!!! Thank you

  7. The goss goal in front of the kop ( the last goal scored there if I I remember rightly) was applauded warmly by the Liverpool fans.

The night Safri scored the worldy against Newcastle I was sat on the jarrold stand instead of the snakepit

That just about got a round of applause 🤣🤣🤣from the prawn sandwich brigade 🤣

  8. I was working on Southampton this week so I went to st Mary’s tonight.

observations on the two teams ( whilst constantly refreshing my pinkun match feed !)

    1) nothing to fear if we get soton in the playoffs - they really aren’t all that

    2) Russ Martin and the atmosphere… if he really thinks Carra Rd was flat when we played them then God knows what tonight could be described as ! Absolute library!!!!

    3) Cov fans … fair play to them ! 10mins of singing twist and shout !  Tried their best to make some sort of atmosphere. Their team also was pretty duff.  Midfield was very lightweight

    4) still plenty of ups and downs left but 4 games to go and we are in better nick than Soton and 5 pts better off than Cov so let’s stay positive

Not In that section, everyone seemed nice, they didn't appear to be the type of people who would call someone out for not singing "on the ball" etc

I wouldn't do it again but that's not because of the stand I was in.

I remember sitting with the ‘enemy’ at a derby back in the 90’s at portaloo road.  The ips**** fans started singing to Bryan gunn

    ’wheres your daughter gone’

Just an awful awful moment in my life … football should never cross these boundaries.

  10. It’s going to be a mad few weeks … remember all those years ago when we sneaked in!  Didn’t Gazza hit the bar for Burnley in the last minute of their match ?

Yes today wasn’t great for us, ( in our own match ) but as we see lots of twists and turns yet.  I’d never thought we would be in this position a few months back.

strap in and enjoy the ride

    All aboard !!!

5 conceded after 47 minutes and 58 conceded after 22 games (so far).

Where are all the comments about them not fit to be in the EPL like we got?

    Agreed …

    we got so much criticism

I even phoned talks£&te and had a go at them two years ago !

im sure they won’t be subjected to the same harassment by them

It was a complete joke wasn't it, and showed how low our fans had sunk around that time. I doubt they will have the ability to reflect on what Gibson was going through and in hindsight think about whether or not that was a stupid thing to do and show some respect now, but I hope so.

It’s awful to think our so called supporters did this … and even worse in light of what he and his family are going through.

These players are human and never should we boo our own players when they come on… full stop.  Supporters should realise this will do nothing to improve anything.

Leaving aside that a Championship side losing at home to Maidstone is hardly the same as a Bundesliga side losing at home to a Premier League team, I was at the match in Germany and I don't remember it quite as this Ipswich fan does:

The feeling we have today must have been how Bayern Munich felt after dominating the game against Norwich and losing.

Ha that comment is utterly ridiculous

Bayern loosing to us having been one of the best teams in the land the year before is not the same as loosing to a team of semi pros in the 6th tier of English football !

Shows their twisted sense of self importance south of the border.

Both Leeds and Southampton will catch them now.
