Croft will be out as soon as Bell is fit. He tries hard and is a nice guy, the disappointment on his face when he scuffed the oportunity was plain to see. He just doesn''t make the grade. -
Shackell was very good today, as was the whole defence generally. Would happily see him play there again in Berties abscence. -

Ok, so another gripe of mine to add to the ''Death of'', is the death of the phone conversation. Nothing (other than textspeak) could annoy me more than when you call a friend & it goes straight to voicemail and yet seconds after you''ve put the phone down you receive a text message from that person saying something like ''Wht U wnt'' (See what I did there!!!!). Why not call me back. I don''t want to spend the next 15 minutes having a conversation via text messages when I can have the same conversation in 3 minutes over the phone for half the cost!

When did spelling and grammar become so unimportant on this board?No-one minds the odd mistake, or a misplaced apostrophe every now and again, but as soon as I read some of the "ENUFF SED" crap on this board I have no interest in what people are saying.The number of rumours written in incomprehensible language is ridiculous. We have a lot of options at the back now, and quality as well as quantity. We all know what Bertrand can do, Omozusi is one of the best up and coming English talents around, and at centre back I''d have happily played one of Shax and The Doc at the back. As it stands, I don''t see either of them playing on the first day of the season. Maybe Shax, now he is challenged for his place, will show us the form that made him IMO our best defender in the Premiership season. Or maybe he''ll end up at Kings Lynn. Either way, it''s just the strikers we need to worry about now. I still think Ameobi is coming [:)] -

As I stated clearly, I have ALSO followed games as they happen (as best I can) as well as read reports and opinions. I don''t have to be at Carrow Road to have a legitimate opinion of a player. I was not there for the signing of the Treaty of Versailles post WWI, but I know it was not good for the German economy. I didn''t sail across the Mediterranean with the Romans for the 3rd Punic War, but I know it was all about payback and security for the future, and that it was a big success. I didn''t see Doherty play at Southampton this past season, but I know he made a couple of egregiously stupid errors that could easily have cost us.
