A beautiful version, lost forever!
I love that. It would never happen today though for two reasons. 1) hardly anybody sings anyway, 2) the stone island brigade are in too much of a hurry to spit their words out.
Seriously though, it’s no coincidence that the best sounding football songs always seem to be the slower ones.

Wagner can still make himself THE most loved NCFC manager of all time.
All he has to do is lead us to the PL via a home league win v’s Ipswich followed by a playoff win against them!
Easy! That’d pretty much cement him in canary folklore and probably be the biggest comeback from a manger ever!

As it stands, they wouldn’t be anything special, but that would change if they played in the English league and I’d expect both to be top EPL clubs within 3-5 years.
To Think otherwise would be naive.

He’s been quality. Deserves way more credit than he gets. Always has in my book. He’d be very hard to replace.

He’ll have to do his 6 months as a sub before he’s allowed a start

At least we won’t have to put up with the moaners tgat complain to the stewards every game, write in to the EDP or even the council for standing at a football match. Long, long overdue in my opinion.

Funny how people see things differently because I’ve always thought he seems the type of player that could develop into a very good centre half. More so than a midfielder to me.

I guess it would be hard to call that anything other than a success.

4 hours ago, Gordon Bennett said:How many of Steipermann, Hernandez, Zimmerman, Trybull or Vrancic would we have said that about though during Farke's first season? Foreign players in the first season here often struggle, its a lot of games at a fast pace with no winter break while living in a new country. Takes some adjusting to.
I remember thinking Vrancic was an absolute joke of a player in his first season. He went on to make himself one of my favourite players of that era, maybe even if all time. He was class but I had written him off early on.

I think Idah is going to score a hatful up there I really do.

Might be better to do one of those things in the 6 minute (that is his squad number is t it?) - assuming he starts of course. Most people join in with those regardless so there’ll be bigger buy in.

Finally, Sara starts in a more advanced role.
-
We just have to find a way of getting Sara into Barnes’ position.
Ive nothing outright against Barnes, but I’m just struggling to see how he’s making an impact on games. If there’s one piece of transfer business I’d like to see happen this window, it would be to find a midfielder tailor made for the position Sara is currently being asked to ply, so we can release him into Barnes current position. We’d have far more goals in this team if we could do that I’m sure. When Sara gets forward he transforms into the player we know he is. Such a waste as a deep lying midfielder.
One piece of elusive transfer business could make such a difference to this team. Asking for another Skipp is probably to tall an order but there has to be another Trybull out there surely.

This was clearly a last summer thing. Don’t allow yourself to get your hopes up folks

I’m very disgruntled and disillusioned at the way this club is being run right now, but he’s right, the players do deserve our support and as fans, that’s what we should be doing. It’s our job.
Doesn’t change my displeasure at how Delia is choosing to play out the end game though.

That was an insane finish.

Hell of a keeper. We’re lucky to have him

No way he gets sacked tonight. He’ll see the season out but his time is coming without a doubt.

3 minutes ago, Indy said:Expected it the be fairly quiet, but with Knapper in was expecting at least a couple younger players loaned in to strengthen a mediocre squad! Still nothing apart from Hwang going back.
Anyone expecting more by now?
They’re probably struggling with recruitment because the clubs recruitment process feels like it’s in disarray, but yeah I’d have hoped something might have happened if I’m honest however impatient that may make me sound!

24 minutes ago, Indy said:Yes but if you do that we play at our best the first 20 minutes before we concede and go rapidly downhill in performance! Can we do this after 20 minutes a mass walk out to the bars?
Never gonna happen though is it en mass. Good idea but you’d never get enough people to actually do it, whereas with the phones it’s easy and accessible to almost all

Great idea, sends a message to the board without the guilt of being negative towards the team
-
Would be good if this could get pinned at the top. Superbly put.

Wouldn’t surprise me. Didn’t MWJ say in one of the AGM interviews that Webber was still contracted until March?
Not gonna lie I’ve suspected this for some time. They could tell us anything. we’d never know.

Why does Wagner always change a winning team?

By the time SVH is allowed near the team properly , his loan will have expired.
Sainz got the same treatment if you remember. Yes, I know there was a portion of this season where Sainz was injured but there was also a large portion after that where he was a perma-sub. Then the pressure to play him built to the point he was then brought in coincidence or not) from nowhere and the rest is history.
Wagner is a strange guy I think. Hard to fathom.
