Gunn
Aarons Hanley Gibson Giannoulis
Sara Mclean
Hernandez Nunez Tzolis
Idah
That's my team too
Pukki to come on for a run around near the end
-
I'd rather see Kamara given a chance as a central striker before Tzolis gets in there
It seems more logical to try our prolific U23 striker first, before trying Tzolis out of position. Although he doesn't seem an out and out winger, he could still play as part of a front 3 behind a central striker

3 minutes ago, Captain Holt said:He isn't, he's on a yearly rolling contract from today. Essentially a 12 month notice period for either party.
Is that what it means?
I wasn't sure, but looking at the Athletic article here
It says "Webber and Norwich's board will now review his situation each summer before committing to the following year."
I took that to mean they could decide to not renew it this summer and he'd be off

Well Pukki is benched but Idah is in
Hopefully Sarge is the striker but no idea how we'll line up tbh

1 hour ago, Yellow Fever said:Sarge upfront please. That has to be the future.
3 :1 to City
I absolutely agree. Pukki is great, but the best we've played all season is with Sarge up front
Pukki to come on as a sub if needed
That frees up a space in midfield for Gibbs

Cautiously optimistic for this one, for some reason

I don't think we should fire him, but he is on a yearly rolling contract until June and I think we should be looking at someone new then
I think he's done well, but 6 years is a long time and we need a fresh face with new ideas to build on what he's done

I still think Rowe should be ahead of Tzolis and Marquinhos (if he comes).
Rowe looked half decent for spells in the Prem. before his injury
-
Hi. Are you counting Abu Kamara or hasn't he got a full contract?

He's back at FC Twente now
They tweeted this yesterday

"we are in a position to hunt. Hunt for the top 10, hunt for the top 6...it could be quite exciting to be a hunter"
He even makes being 11th sound quite sexy

He's injured though.
That's why he's going back
-
Still think Forest will go down. Plus Southampton and Bournemouth

I don't know if Bethnal Y&G still posts on here or if he'd mind me linking to his blog but I found it interesting

Gunn
Mumba Omobalidele Tomkinson McCallum
Gibbs Nunez
Tzolis McLean Sara (Rowe)
Sargent (Idah)
Then sprinkle in a bit of seasoned experience……
I'm not sure how much Mumba plays as a RB any more
I saw in Plymouth's last game they were playing a 4231 and he was the left man of the 3
He seems to be a left wing back or winger this season

38 minutes ago, Alfie54 said:If Byram is fit, should be ahead of both of them
Trouble is Byram never is fit
His contract runs out in the summer as well and with his injuries surely we won't extend it, so he's not a long term option

5 minutes ago, Ken Hairy said:He admitted he still believed in Smith, well have the courage of your convictions and be proven right or die trying. Like I said, it's an admission of weakness.
I'm not really sure what you're arguing. Are you saying he should have kept Smith on?
I'm glad he's admitted it didn't work and the club needs a reset and a change of direction. It seems sensible to me

I thought it was a reasonably good interview
He accepted he had underestimated the fans' desire to connect with the manager and to play a certain way and accepted the club need to change that with the next appointment
Also saying 2 of the shortlist aren't even in the betting markets is good from my point of view. Shows they're looking far and wide

Dimi seems to have lost his confidence due to being constantly dropped every time he makes a mistake
I'm not convinced he makes more than McCullum and we know an on-form Dimi is good in this league, so I think he needs a manager who believes in him and a run of games even if he looks a bit rusty at first

10 minutes ago, norfolkngood said:so you wouldn't ask him ?
better to ask and get turned down than not even ask the question ?
first rule of Nightclubs when i was 17 !!!
How do you know we haven't asked him?
I suspect we made a serious attempt to get him after Farke but he eventually said no. I'm sure we'd have been back in touch to see if he's changed his mind
Still, even if Bailey is right we don't know the other 3 on the list so he could be one of them

Could be a 442 with a diamond with Pukki and Idah up front and Sargent behind with Kenny or Nunez at the base of the diamond??
Oh well, we'll find out in an hour
I've got no idea if we're going to win 3-0 or lose 3-0
-
Anyone got any ideas of who is going to play where?
I assume its a 433 with Kenny in the middle of Sara and Nunez??

It's a shame Tzolis isn't starting. He seems like a confidence player and would have been on a bit of a high
Not too keen on promoting another team's youth prospect at the direct expense of one of ours
Good to see Kamara on the bench though
Would like to see him get on
