seb muddel i think his name is. he''s 14/15 and is already on the fringes of the under 19''s. he may have had england trials. definately our next jarvis. -
i personally belief that if we get both infil''s done then that would be enough for atleast the next few seasons. that would add about another 3''500-4''000 to the capacity which would give us around the 30''000 mark. that is a good average, premiership attendance. no need for the extra tier on the city stand yet though. maybe after we r an astablished premiership side. 3-4 seasons maybe? -
i would say that they need to be older. 15/16, so they can understand what to do and when to do it. but it was not fair on them yesterday. repka kept hoofing it into the top row, the player asked 4 the ball, which he got from the ballboy. and then comes down the other ball onto the pitch 30 secs later when the play has already started. then the ref and the players started having a go at him. u can''t rely that the boy is going to catch a ball which has been chucked down and probably not even to him. the fans chuck it onto the pitch to the players. the players are as much to blame as they should know that the ball will come back from the stands and onto the pitch. whats 10 secs gonna do? they were only about 7 years old so u can''t be too harsh on them. i think the players should only get the ball from the ballboy if its the one that has just gone out of play and he has gone to collect it, or the ball in play has been launched onto the roof or has been punctured or something like that. -
i think its time to give the hucks/mckenzie partnership again. u can''t just give up on it after 1 game coz it wasn''t great. its different saturday coz we''re away to sunderland who i expect to put a lot of pressure on us. so we will need to counter attack quickly with quality results. that is why we need mckenzie back in the picture. hes been patient and i think now is his time to get back into the team. hopefully he will get us more goals and do his part to getting us in the prem! -
i heard this the other day about england. your best side is not necessarily your best 11. thats with us and mckenzie. he is one of our best eleven but if don''t have a place 4 him then u can''t start him. like engand. lampard, scholes, beckham and gerrard r your best mids but u haven''t got the left or the right sided players so u can''t start all of them if u want a balanced side. if u want your best eleven out every week then u might not get the results u want coz it is not a balanced team. like the bradford and rotherham game.
does anyone else agree with my point? -
i agree that we need to put mcveigh o the left and bring back harper to play on the right. the team is then a lot better balanced and therefore will play better and create more opertunities for the front men. -
i expect 1 or 2 changes in the team come the sunderland game. i hope/expect mckenzie to start, maybe a change in midfield to freshen things up. we might even see henderson starting on the right wing again!? -
out of the top teams (meaning norwich, wba, wigan, whu, sunderland, ipswich, sheff utd) i now strongly believe that they have got the weakest team out of the lot of them and that they will miss out on the play-offs. i am very confident that we will beat them-i would say the easiest game out of ''the 5 hard games''(4 now). (not trying to jynx it or anything!) -
i thought it was a very exciting game today. huckerby was once again fantastic down the left and a well taken goal. west ham looked very strong today, if they would have got another goal soon after the 1st there would have been no way back 4 us. i think roberts will not start next week against sunderland. he worked well but is now fading away a bit and i think its time to start Mckenzie upfront with hucks again. we will be on the counter attack a lot next week and i think we will need that extra bit of fire power which leon can give us. he has been patient and deserves another run in the team. we started off very dodgy in the first half, they really should have scored.
i think 1-1 was a fair result even though we should have gone on and won the game with a certain penalty but thats life (i don''t think we will all be complaining like a certain Mr.Warnock). a well battled game, and looking forward to playing sunderland. -
he worked very hard today i thought when he came on. he did battle and got stuck in. roberts definately needed to come off, (roberts will be sub next week i guess, mckenzie and hucks upfront) i''d give him 7/10 for the amount of time he was on the pitch 2day. -
it seems to me that our kit is getting better every year. when we had the old colman shirts they were made of cotton or something and they were quite horrible! there was no give in them at all. i would like it if the sponsors were printed into the shirt so it was the same material. other than that i am very pleased for moneys worth. -
where did u get that info? -
i doubt it. the home kit is always for 2 years at a time but the away kit will definately be changed as it does every season. just wondering is anybody waiting till we go up before u put names and numbers on your shirt? coz if u do it now u will get div 1 lettering so i am waiting to get huckerby and whatever number he is next year in prem writing on the back of my shirt. -
yes, we''ve got the same problem aswell. even though i''m sitting next 2 my mate, i got my card but yet he didn''t, and we live in the same house! u would have thought our tickets would have gone out in the same batch. so we''ve got to get at the ground nice and early 2 make sure he can actually get into the ground! -
i don''t think we can afford to lose 6 games, coz we''re not going to win all the rest. we''ed probably draw atleast 2, but 9 wins is definately good enough along with a few draws. -
does it say his age on the ticket? if so it would be wierd 2 see an adult try to get into the ground with an under 12''s season ticket! -
how old is your son?? -
every game is winnable and every game is loseable. we could win our next 5 games and then lose the next 5! every game is a hard one so it doesn''t matter who u are playing at this stage in my opinion. -
alright. i''ve changed my mind
1.norwich
2.sunderland
3.wba
4.wigan
5.west ham
6.sheff utd -
on the whu site they said the game will be beamed back to them outside upton park or something. well i don''t know u have a look.

they''ve even got a little countdown till the norwich game kicks off. how cute! -
y has the ''Re:ground additions'' suddenly turned into ''Re: Dear Nepturamus'' 4?????? -
would it be just one infill. we could do all of them so the whole ground linked up.that would get us to atleast 30''000 without having to go to the trouble of putting another tier on one of the side stands. -
people on here have been saying give Svensson a start but as the EDP only gave him a 5/10 then does worthy think he''s earn his place 4 our biggest game of the season so far? -
i would say 29-30''000 seats would do us. No need 4 over doing it hey!
