    Make all the excuses you want for countries not getting to the moon before, at the same time, or ever. The fact is we did. Nobody else came up with a space shuttle, either. You can''t blame that on dick waving or WWII rebuilding. Who created nuclear weapons to force an end to the war?

    You know who WAS stealing a lot of tech? The Soviets. Free market democratic countries allow trial and error. That''s how you learn. In America our scientists and inventors have that freedom, which is why we dumb Americans make way more than our share of worldly advancements. It''s also why secondary countries have inferiority complexes so feel the need to try and belittle us.

    But think about it. Assume it was stolen. Did the Nazis (was Germany still Nazi during the Space Race?) (HA HA HA!) and our enemies (the Soviets, I presume) not have copies of the technology we stole? Why didn''t they get there first? Or at all?

    Til, if you think Carrow Road is well proportioned, then you wouldn''t fit in so well as mort. Real stadiums are built with more than a handful of seats between to goallines.

    A bigger stafium would provide more seats, making getting tickets easier for casual fans, out of towners, LDC, etc.

    Carrow Road has upper decks, but only behind the goals. That makes most of the seating unattractive compared to properly built stadiums with most of the seating between the goallines, seats casual fans are more likely going to buy. They also generate more income.

    I was wondering what the whiff of manure, beer and stupidly was, but mortina cleared that up. He''s cruising Mobile meeting bell ends up close. I bet his boys don''t miss being around that.
