  1. I truly hope I''m proven wrong. I wish NA the very best of luck and hope the players get behind him. City should be aiming top two no less. But.... This has the scent of Roeder all over it. I get no sense of confidence, authority, charisma or know how. I''m sure he has passion and maybe on the training pitch he can get the players on side. But when you consider who we are, the fact we are among the faves to bounce back, surely we could have attracted a manager with more calibre that this. Mackay yes, Zola no, Lennon maybe. I''m sure others can name several more. Suffice to say, my instant reaction was OH NO! Far more pessimistic about chances now.
