This is a conversation between my heart and my head on our survival chances this season.

Heart: I am so looking forward to playing in the Premiership

Head: me to but I don’t think our chances of survival are better than 50/50

Heart: 50/50! We have significantly strengthened our Championship (sic) winning side with a host of quality signings. We will surprise a few people and finish mid table.

Head: We still need a target man and most importantly a centre back. If NW gets these before the transfer window closes then I would agree with you mate.

Heart: Helveg''s experience, Bentley''s creativity, Hux''s pace, Green''s reflexes, Frances'' power, Jonson''s desire, Worthy''s cleverness. Fortress Carrow Road.

Head: Charlton''s lack of height, Malky''s lack of pace, how will we cope with being bottom in September?

Heart: Trust in Worthy, trust in Delia and just sit back and enjoy.

As you can tell im feeling a bit confused at the moment!

The bad news, Turn, is that this Saturday alone will not ease your plight! In fact, I can safely predict that you will only begin to lose these feelings come April/ May next year when your nerves will begin to settle for a month or two. In the meantime, like the rest of us, keep taking the pills!
