Great idea. -
@ Jas The Barclays King - don''t be such a t wat. -
WHERE ARE YOU? LET''S BE AVIN YOU!!! -
If only Mat Gill was on that list - for the humour. -
I hope we finish in the play-off''s. I expect we will finish just outside them. -
To add, I think Argentina will win it. -
How far do you think we will get?I think we''ll get out of the group, finishing 2nd. We will then get knocked out in the last 16. -
If, at Christmas, we find ourselves mid-table or below with poor performances, scrappy wins, lots of draws, poor defeats, then I''d make a change.I know our ownership is very different to Blackburn''s but when they returned to the Championship, they did everything wrong. Well, apart from buying Jordan Rhodes. They appointed poor manager after poor manager, finally ending up with Gary Bowyer, who has done ok, but should''ve perhaps achieved a lot more. Blackburn is what I fear Norwich will turn into for the next few years. A club who just can''t get it right. Part of me thinks we will finish in the top six. A larger part of me says that we''ll finish about 12th-14th. Spending most of the season 3-8 points away from the play-off''s but drifting further away from them as the season comes to a close. -
West Ham bound. -
I like Adrian. It''s Glenn Hoddle I can''t stand. -
If we''re looking to stay in the Championship and make no progress - he''s ideal. -
The OP''s question is sadly the attitude of many Brits and their thoughts towards life: Why the optimism. My answer is: What''s the alternative? -
I don''t think the negativity relates to Lambert now. It relates to people being negative because the club aren''t doing what they would do. It''s like a kid who doesn''t get what he wants for Christmas. He cries, complains and moans like a baby. That reflects many fans on here. Some need to grow up and others are probably at the age where they do still cry at Christmas presents they didn''t get. -
Agree with the OP. Negativity is something that arrived with Chris Hughton but it didn''t leave when he left the building. It needs to leave sharpish because first of all, it''s boring. Secondly, it does have an effect on the club. -
Big Ron was Peterborough''s football consultant in a Sky1 documentary once. That ended well. -
How old is Joe Royle? Suppose he can do it from the comfort of his own home. Just speak to Neil on the phone or if he needs to speak to the team - speakerphone or Skype. Bloody hell. -
We are still to appoint a Technical Director. Don''t like the sound of this football consultant idea. -
Holt and Robson first team coaches. -
Royle as Football Consultant. -
Thanks for the link. Ah ok, looking at the date I was out of the country for the last 4 months of 2009 which explains me missing it. Funny though. Poor Theo. He was just pretty useless in many areas. -
Theo missed the bus? What? I must have missed this news when it happened. -
I like this move. Happy with the appointment of Holt as assistant. Good choice! -
Chris Wood is a decent shout. -
