Redmond looks very good so far. As does Tom Carroll, terrific distribution of the ball -

Sky Sports News reporting that Middlesborough have big £4m for Vossen. Anybody think he''s worth a shot? -
Sky Sports News reporting that he has arrived at Newcastle airport ahead of move to Middlesborough -
They will be battling Arsenal and Spurs for 4th. I see them finishing 6th -
I would love to see us snapping up Holtby or Sigurdsson on loan for this season, Holtby especially. Presuming he wouldn''t mind staying in England I think that we could be in with a decent chance of signing him if we were interested.Haven''t seen much of Tom Carroll but heard that he was a brilliant passer of the ball -
Found this posted on a Southampton forum:http://bearsyinvestigates.blogspot.co.uk/2013/08/scouting-report-norwich-city.html -
From @paddyjdavitt on twitter:Injury wise for #saints: hooper no go. Yet to return to light running. Ryan bennett ''touch and go''. Had a couple of stitches in a knee inj -
Also I would prefer to see Tettey instead of Johnson -
What I think:(4231) Ruddy; Whittaker, Martin, Bassong, Olsson; Fer, Johnson; Snodgrass, Elmander, Pilkington; RVWI would personally like to see Redmond start, perhaps behind the striker instead of Elmander. If he does it would most likely be instead of Pilks. -
I suggested this on another thread the other day but apparently Liverpool are in for him on loan so it''s unlikely that we could get hold of him -
Lewis Holtby is a brilliant AM who apparently Everton want on loan. Unfortunately he is a bit out of our league methinks -
Chelsea have some younger players who play in the same position including Lucas Piazon and Marco Marin. Both these players have already go on loan to other teams, however.Marin would be a great addition to the team- he is now on loan at Sevilla for the season -
I don''t think that Chelsea will be looking to loan Van Ginkel out to anybody. Victor Moses on the the other hand I think is a more realistic option, however he is a winger and not an AM. He has been linked with West Brom to go on the opposite wing to Sinclair and I''ve seen rumours of Chelsea wanting to loan him out -
I hope Leroy Fer gets tried in an attacking position behind the striker sometime this season. I would guess Hughton will use him in the more defensive role first and we might see him moving up the pitch later in the season -
Paddy Davitt, writer for EDP + pinkun on twitter:@paddyjdavitt: "No hooper for hull either for #ncfc. Bassong looks the nearest of injured boys to involvement. Snoddy trained today for first time #ncfc" -
MC, who do you think the forward is going to be? I''d prefer a younger player who may develop seeing as he will be our 4th choice striker. James Vaughan, Simeon Jackson or Chris Martin would have been fine for that spot in my opinion. -
A £10,000,001 bid for Ruddy -

3 of the 4 pundits (all ex-Liverpool players which explains it) had Liverpool down to finish 4th -
1 signing (CB) + 1 loan (striker): 4 million -
This is another statistical prediction of the next season, this time from Bloomberg Sports.http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2385951/Chelsea-tipped-win-Premier-League-Bloomberg-forecasts.html(I tried to post just the photo of the league table but couldn''t work out how) -
Last weekend somebody was on course for winning the £250,000 on Sky''s Super 6 until Leeds scored their winner in the fourth minute of injury time -
I think £8 million would be about right if a club really wanted him, I don''t think that we would accept but that might depend on if Ruddy wanted to move.He is the same age as Joe Hart and I don''t see him being anymore than Hart''s understudy unfortunately. Hart didn''t play well this season in my opinion but seems to perform well for England
