I''m hoping for a wonderful day out with us winning 1-0, with a stunning 89th minute 35 yrd volley from Becchio.sadly, I think we''ll end up conceding early, and then get caught on the break when we start pushing forward. so, 2-0. -

I was under the impression that he would be back for this weekend. will be interesting to see who hughton chooses if he is available. -
Not the strawberry!A mate of mine said to try a place called the bridge, so I''ll be giving that a go. -
Well, a point or 3 would be great, but my last two visits to st james park yielded 1-0 defeats. I''m just hoping that, if we lose, its by no more than 1. -
Thats a difficult one. Howson has been doing very well in his attacking role, and lets face it, we going to start off quite tight this weekend. I expect a 5 man midfield, so bradley will pobably get the nod. That said, I think johnson has been very poor this season. particularly last week. So i would prefer to see ruddyruss, turner, seb, olssonsnodgrass, howson, fer, pilkshoopsrvwyou know, if they are all fit! -
2-0 after a credible performance. then every one stops whinging and we go on to win the league.or just one of those things... -
i think he''ll get till west ham, but if we dont get 3 pts he''ll get the push. -
I expected us to lose 4-0 today but i forced myself to watch anyway. 7-0 was unacceptable. the only silver lining is that at least josh murphy had his first taste of the premier league.I was firmly behind hughton before the game. now i think, at best, he should be given the west ham game. if we dont get 3 points then its over.If i read that mcnally has had enough before breakfast i wont shed a tear though.its a shame because i think hughton is a very stable option, but tactically i think perhaps he is out of his depth this season.so, who''s the next paul lambert then?? -
Can I keep Hughton AND sweat parmesan? I chuffing love cheese. -
In. just. But we need six points from west ham and crystal palace. Even then, i think hughton needs to get a point at st james park and at least put on a good performance at the etihad.best of luck to him, but in truth I think he''ll be gone by December. -
I thought we played some good stuff at times. redmond is a very exciting player, and leroy is a beast. i thought howson had a good game too in his new more attacking position. wonder if tettey will be dropped after that mistake though, that said, he did well to be back there to cover in the first place.i''m obviously gutted that we lost, but as the OP said, we did well to be ''in it'' for so long. before the game i was dreading a 4-0 no show performance. -
I had a dream last night that ricky scored first, then it went to 1-1, 1-2, 2-2, 2-4 before a 95th minute equalizer from snodders made it 4-4. -
still at 14%. sadly i think Hodgson will be unswayed by our efforts and stick with ''big club'' joe hart. (remember when we beat them 3-2?!!) -
Right, so here it is.At this particular moment in time i remain 100% behind Chris Hughton.I think he will quickly find the right balance between defence and attack, he will quickly work out his strongest side, and he will quickly develop a (successful) plan B.That said, if my day out at the Britannia ends in another sincere disappointment after a ''no show'' performance then I suspect my opinion to change, and Cardiff at FCR to be his saving grace, or the nail in his coffin. It is very clear that Hughton is beginning to lose the crowd, and sadly, if results don''t pick up, that only ends in one way... -
I think Hughton will start cautious to avoid a repeat of last seasons opener. it was a long time ago, but didnt we start with 2 up top in that game? jacko and holt?RuddyMartin, Turner, Bassong, GarridoSnodgrass, Fer, Johno, pilksHoolahanRVWsubs of: redmond, hooper and howson. -
this may explain why snodgrass wasn''t playing!http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/scotland-star-robert-snodgrass-pregnant-2106560? -
oh, and selling sutton, eadie and holt were low points too. i was 10 and i cried when we sold sutton!! -
for, me the lowest was when we lost to charlton and were relegated to league one. closely followed by fulham away (the first time) and colchester at home.the highs; the run in europe, all the promotions, and arsenal, man utd and particularly man city last season. -
26000 people howling would be an amazing spectacle!! -
I know we will definitely be getting 2 more strikers in. probably one permanently, and one on loan i reckon, but I just want everything sorted now!! and i know thats completely unreasonable!! -
1) man utd, sadly. I think chelsea will be a very close second.2)Hull, stoke, cardiff. 3) anywhere between 8th and 17th, but I''ll go for 10th. -
Awesome. I was planning to pick RVW and Bassong but thought they would cost way more than that! Ruddy is def a good shout for only £2m! -
that wasn''t very nice. i got all worried for a second there!!
