    I think playing helps.....can relate to scenario''s and pressures etc.

    I have been on books of pro club when younger and now play semi pro, i think playing makes a difference.There is nothing worse than someone who has never kicked a ball moaning about what a player has done or how he could of scored that!

    Im not wanting to offend people who have not played and sorry if i have done.

    Football is our passion and it brings us alltogether. its one of the most opinionated sports in the world,it wouldnt be right not to have the argument down the pub with ya mate about tactics untill your blue in the face that your right!

    Thats why i love this bloody game!! Oh.....Knowledge is definately the bomb hence my nickname of statto!!

    The brum fans are leaving FTC goading us about our league position,all of a sudden the place erupts to everyones surprise....the saints have equalised and now its up to us. ITS IN OUR OWN HANDS!

    Only we can now blow it and have picked arguably the best time to get out of the zone. No longer do we need to calculate predictions and hope for results to go our way.Its simple aint it! Win and we would of completed the greatest escape ever.

    We go down to Fulham on the crest of a wave buoyed by yesterdays tense affair. What im getting at is i was pooing myself yesterday so how will we all be next week when we paint the stadium yellow n green?

    I ask you all.....Is this the most nerve racking game in our history?

    Thoughts plz......

    Gives the club a bad name .......clearly!! Just tryin to whip up some banter you fool! Suppose i am a bad fan after not missing a game for god knows how many yrs,buying every possible piece of merchandise and never commiting a crime!! Its hardly Arson or hooliganism is it!!

    I was there when we were pooh!!!

    Just fancied a laff but obv u wont allow it!!

    Can someone clarify something for me..........

    Did our fat,balding and ginger friend say at the start of the season that if city stay up he would run around the millenium stadium on FA cup final day naked?

    I think its time we reminded him of this if i am correct! I mean it would be funny and a good thing to see!!......well maybe not but atleast we would humiliate him!!

    If it is true and it does happen how can we get the msg thru to him??!! Maybe the web team could print this in the pink un and therefore start a petition on it!!

    Come on lets make him pay!!

    Your right it''s not what this board is about but all ithis talk of will we?wont we? is killing my nerves!

    Not been able to laugh at em much this season so i feel like doing it at this moment in time!

    I have just took too much stick this yr,but hopefully we will have the last laugh!!Fingers crossed!!

    To be honest i feel his season has been a bit stop start what with injuries and a suspension.

    The one thing we forget about is foreign players do need a settling in period,its not like us moving from office to office.They are having to deal with a brand new culture,a new style of football and 9/10 living in a hotel for a few months!

    Do we all remember the time Steeno needed at first to settle in? He became a legend.Helveg now looks settled so hopefully Jonno is the next one. Unfortunately we aint been in a position where we can give him games to adjust due to our dog fight but i believe he will come good.

    We have seen glimpses of his potential.Portsmouth away he was awesome albeit at RB,Tottenham at home before he came off he was giving Edman the runaround! I feel he is a right confidence player (as all players are) and is just suffering from a mental block,a fear of making a mistake and playing in a comfort frame of mind-not taking risks.

    Didnt he win the player of the month for december??

    Also yesterday i was pleased with the way he worked hs socks off and supported Drury and didnt leave him exposed against there dangerman and arguably one of the quickest players around-Rommedahl! Would Hucks of left us exposed to his danger??

    Stick with him,i guarantee he will be better after one of our pre-seasons!

    What a daft post! why doubt worthy...we won the game!

    Holt is defensive minded so worthers wanted to defend the lead,something he was critiscised for not doing against palace so really he cant win can he!!

    The toon and esp Robert were causing a few probs down there i feel and he was obv brought on to steady the ship.

    Have you got any knowledge of football?? it crazes me when people rattle on like this when clearly its obvious why he has been brought on.To defend a lead!!

    Well....i''d rather you moan on here than take it to FCR  tomorrow,so just concentrate on doing one thing-support the lads!!!

    Definately acquiesce. Oasis always gets me going! infact its all i listen too! Only 34 days till i c em!!

    The other track is Queen-one vision which we come out to.It brings back so many memories of last yr its unreal esp listening to it in me car honking my horn the night we got promoted!!

    definately better than the binners singing the blues which is like a status quo rip off!!

    Oh........OTBC sends shivers down my spine when the whole ground joins in! has anyone got a recording of this??

    We just have not been good enough this yr! I have kept my word tho, not to get down at any point as last year was totally unexpected! Lets face it under worthers we have progressed alot quicker than we thought we would have,i would accept the grumbles if we were a mid-table fizzy league team (as we were when he took over!) but we are not.

    The clubs finances are now secure,gone are the days of half empty stadiums,infact our fan base increase has been phenomonal! I wonder............how many can actually remember Brian Mcgoverns goal which clinched our safety in Div 1 ,4 yrs ago! We are now a stable club. These are a few reasons why Nigel should stay!

    Must admit tho......next year is a big yr for him to see if he can meet the expectations of a club who want to win the league and no longer settle for mid-table boredom!

    Darren Ward is only 26 and definately looks better than the Doc. If we want to mount a charge next yr we cant start him, look at how slow malky was last yr, Doherty is slower than him!!

    For me it has to be Ward or maybe even Gabbidon but Ifill would be my preference!

    Definately Ifill! My brother is a millwall fan and he really rates him. He has been injured alot this yr and me bro believes had he of been fit they would be in the play off''s.

    I remember when they thrashed us 4-0 (im still regularly reminded!) he ran us ragged and scored a pearler,i would definately welcome him! Millwall have reportadly rejected a recent bid for him my guess is we will have to pay atleast £1m. I dont think they are mega skint.

    It really would please me to nab him off of them to rub in my bro''s face!! Also ....they have a good centre half-Darren Ward.He is a perfect partner for Shacks and is no nonsense definately better than Flem who i believe has to go nxt yr!

    Wizz......i too bleed yellow and green but lets be realistic....tonite is a game that if we dont win then we are as good as doomed.

    I swore to myself at the start of the season not to get down at all this year and so far i havent i have enjoyed every min (well apart from a couple of stuffings!!) but i really feel tonite is the most important game to date as a result of the weekends results.Im going for a draw.

    My main concern is that all the other teams seem to be improving, WBA now look quite dangerous and clearly outplayed us down here, Soton have recently got points off of Liverpool and Arsenal.They really do look on the up and i think if anyone will catch Palace it will be them.We still look the same as we did 15 games ago!

    Two things i am sure of is that 1) We will not go down without a fight and 2) A derby is looking likely next yr and the Binners dont seem to be coping with pressure very well,ha ha.
