Talks to be held -
i think we need someone proven, not someone who is out to prove himself. -
no thanks -
This is soooooooooo funny! -
My lawn is looking a little worse for wear....but my neighbor down the road, his is alot worse....in the shade and a distinct lack of care, love and time devoted to it......the grass, it seems, isn''t always greener. -

obviously its going to be denied until its a done deal, ch and dm are hardly going to come out and reveal anything at this stage.
No it won''t be denied, the question would be ignored. McNally wouldn''t come out and deny talks have taken place if they had, he just wouldn''t say anything at all. Complete non starter story for me, Hughton has denied any bids have taken place, McNally has said he hasn''t been in any discussions with Chelsea (and all discussions would go through McNally not Delia or Bowkett as someone else said......) so no need to wet your pants. Even if he did go eventually it would be for a lot of money.Sky Sports produces dribble all the time its never a reliable source until the deal is common knowledge anyway
A complete non starter? A little naive. A chance to go to a team who will be challenging for all the honors next season-i think this will happen. -

''a good hard look at themselves'' ??? A little harsh. We finished 11th in our 2nd season. What did our midfield do so wrong?
For the majority of games - hold on to the ball too long, try to beat too many players, pass straight back to the opposition on too many occasions, hesitate too often allowing the opposition to get back, failure to put in enough early and quality crosses.....do you want me to go on?
But like the Defoe thread, isnt it all relative? The more progress we make in the league, the better the quality player we can attract. I agree with your examples, but is it just that, being a relatively new premier league team, this is the best type of player we can attract? They are not the best players in the world, but they are the level of player we can afford relative to our status in the league. Are we expecting too much so soon? -

OK, lets get some reality here. This is Defoe we are talking about. A quality goalscorer playing for a top 5 side. We WILL NOT be seeing him in a canary shirt next season, however much i would like it. We are not an attractive enough option for a player of that caliber just yet. -
and i just realised its the guy everyone has already been talking about....didnt know that was his first name! apologies. -
Linked with the Braga defender in the Football 365 gossip page. Another i know not alot aboooooot. -

Another good thread ruined by the usual cat fight...well done.
I''ll get it back on track, SC. I''m in the music business. Also in the property game, having built and/or renovated several houses.
Very interesting. Any of those houses in the lake district? -
