1. having all these loan players makes me think so. to me it doesnt seem like he is building a team for promotion in two or three years as half of the squad are loan players who wont be staying. is it a case that he is gambling on going up this season then buying players with the money we would then have? and what if we dont go up,do we just start again with a fresh batch of loanees and hope they can get us up...ala crouch and hucks? thoughts?

 2. agree. we have yet to see the best of young wes yet,im sure of that. and now, with sibierski,we have a decent spine to the team. well,we did untill clingers and kenny got injured! and hey,we have the best goalkeeper in the land...nay...the world!! and as for the board...well,i just hope it all gets sorted sooner rather than later so all we have to concentrate on is the football.

 3. myself..im very happy with how the season has started. with all the new players we have had come in, like a completely new back four, i think we,by all accounts, have started well. im excited about the rest of the season and really do think we can be up there come may. if you compare man to man,we have one of the best squads in terms of quality and one which will only get better as the season moves on.

 4.

just got in from work, and i see man city are bidding for everyone (inc berb), joey barton is in talks with another premier team, shacks is off and we have signed another ruddy defender!  got to love transfer deadline day. anyone else staying up untill midnight?
ohhh yesssss...till the last second...im still hoping
who do we reckon then? heider, iversen, howard, ameobi? do we have much money to spend as im sure we have used our loans up?

 5. totally agree. from what i have seen there hasnt been much noted interest in him from other clubs and, as you say, he would be cheap-ish. also,he seems like the type of player who gives it 100% each time and just gets on with the job...which can only be a positive thing.

 6. am i correct in thinking we had a 500,000 bid rejected a few weeks back by leicester? i wouldnt bet against him coming to city before the end of august. i think he could do a job and is exactly the kind of striker glen wants, plus im not sure he would want to be playing league one football as i think he is of a better standard (no offence to lower league teams) what do ya''ll think?

 7. I personally think Glen has done the right thing in regards to transfers. He didnt go out and panick-buy in january. He didnt waste a bunch of money on players that he thought MIGHT get us out of trouble, players whom he would not have had a huge amount of time to get a good reading of. What if he had spent big,the plan backfired and then the unthikable had happened?  It happened to Leeds. We could be going down the same road as Luton and Bournemouth. Instead, he has spent a relatively small amount of money on loaned youngsters who, i believe, have the desire and committment to give it their all untill their loans end..just what we need. As of cr*p loan players, i would say steve coppell and arsene wenger are quite clued up when it comes to young footballers? Oh, and we certainly WILL NOT be relegated! OTBC!!!

 8. completely agree. how i see it is one defeat in 14 and a superb run of results to drag us away from danger. it is fair enough for those who went to leicester to be a bit angry with the result...and like you say, everyone has an off day.but, its not like we got that result on the back of several other dodgy results..we got that result after THIRTEEN games unbeaten..and who would have thought that after QPR away? i personally think Glen has done a superb job with a team that isnt yet completely "his own", relegation, for me, would have been unthinkable, but a few months back..5 points adrift, it looked possible. i just want to thank Glen for keeping us in this league in what has been a very difficult and trying season for everyone who has a passion for the canaries..and a premature thanks for getting us promoted to the premier league next season!
