1. From what it looked like in the article he just wasn''t looking right now, which is fair enough.  If our scouting network doesn''t really cover much outside the UK then we shouldn''t be buying out of the UK, I don''t want us to buy some player because of a youtube video.  But if we get established in the Prem that''s the time to start widening our search and bringing in foreign talent.

But that takes up 1 day a week there are 6 other days to enjoy a life. So think twice before you insult 700 or so city supporters

*shakes his head and cries inside a little*
700?  Am I missing something, aren''t there a hell of a lot more season ticket holders than that? Also just like to remind everyone that our opening game to our last premiership season was against Palace, a fellow promoted club, so this could happen.  But if we are drawn against QPR in the opening game you''d have to think someone at the Telegraph''s gonna be in a lot of trouble for leaking it.P.S.Just realised you might mean 700 heading up to Man U if it''s away, I''m assuming the away allocation is something stupidly small like that.

  3.
Just reading his comments about joining. Doesn''t seem to take anything for granted. Sounds like he fits the Lambert mould perfectly! Very down to earth and hopefully will be a credit to the club.

    http://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/bennett_eager_to_fight_for_norwich_city_place_1_921774
Just listened to his interview on the BBC site, I especially liked his response to the question "how do you feel about going up against Lampard et al" to which he responded "at the moment I''m just thinking about going up against the other players".  He also corrected himself when he said "playing premier league football...I mean hopefully getting the chance to" or something along those lines.I like his attitude, he clearly accepts that he''s going to have to fight for a place in the team and is prepared for it.  Can''t wait to see how he does!

  4. Not really, I''d be more worried if we were spending big bucks on players whose wages we wouldn''t be able to afford if we went back down.  We seem to be building a young(ish) team of players who have a point to prove and hopefully that''ll keep us up.  but we also have a team who if we went back down (god forbid) would be strong enough to make an immediate attempt at promotion and we wouldn''t be forced to sell on.

  5. I agree with Sierra and the others who think we should keep him.  Sure he may not be starting 11, but if the system''s changing to a flat 4-4-2 then he''ll get more chances and we always need cover, we don''t want to find ourselves in the situation where injuries mean we have to put out a massively weakend team.  We have to have a decent squad, not just a starting 11.

  6. You have to admit a1 that you did backtrack quite quickly from your argument, you can''t say that something definitely happened but not provide examples. That said, surely the real question is no has he done it in the past but is he doing it now?  Maybe he was using it as a bargaining chip for Bennett, as in "look, if you don''t sell him at a reasonable price we''re just gonna pick up this proven champiohsip midfielder on a free".As for the whole "his contract isn''t up until 30th June" or whatever the date was, surely that wouldn''t stop us from being able to say "When his contract runs out we will sign him on a new contract".  I think we''ve probably gone off him for whatever reason, or the rumours that he was having a medical with us were just false, otherwise we''d have heard something more concrete by now.  Although I may have to eat some humble pie, I admit I''m no expert on the inner workings of football transfers and contract negotiations.

  7.

Alex, pretty sure that Ronaldinho one is just cleverly edited, Great ad though.
Really?! Must admit, totally had me fooled if this is a fake. The thing about it is, when you have/had talent like him then I wouldn''t put that demonstration past the realms of possibility!.
Personally I don''t trust anything I see on the internet anymore, video editting has gotten far too good.

  8.

I like the look of the bottom three, might be the same after 38 games........
woooooooo this is scarey, we had exactly ther same thread started a couple of days ago, was I dreaming and it didn''t actually happen.
I think I said something like, but we seem to have the championship table on here http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/n/norwich/default.stmThought I''d post it again incase it was a mass hallucination.
