Does anyone know apart from Redmond and the Murphys who else (if any) of the U21s hold Pro contracts with us? -
Nearly all our first team (and several youngsters) are away playing for their respective countries. I think we are doing something right. -

"Well if we lose Elmander, Hoolahan, Howson, Snodgrass, Pilkington, Redmond and Fer (who can all play in Butterfield''s prefer position) then we can always turn to Josh Murphy who I''m sure could do a better job anyway. -

He loves the banter. -
We play 4 - 4- 1- 1 and that does not look like changing anytime soon;CF - RvW, Hooper, Becchio, (Elmander)SS/AM - Hoolahan, Howson, (Elmander)More than 2 for each of the front positions. Long would be vying with those six and at £5m it would be a monumental waste of money with other positions lacking. -
SeattleCanary are you an American who supports City?I''m kind of hoping you are as it would give you an excuse for being so far wide of the mark all the time. -
RW who can play AM or CF. There we go then, done deal. -
Flecky''s Flip-Flop wrote the following post at 02/09/2013 12:34 PM:"Howson came on for Elmander to tighten up the midfield and protect the lead."Exactly this, if we were leading 3-0 at that point and Elmander needed a rest then we would have brought lightweight Wes on instead to try to up our goal difference. -
Sky still have a reporter dedicated to standing outside the QPR training ground. Perhaps someone should tell them that they are not in the BPL anymore. -
Especially if we have a sell-on percentage. -
Let us just end this here please;SSN - "Crystal Palace, Middlesbrough, FC Copenhagen and Rayo Vallecano are all interested in the former Norwich loanee" -
Just switched on SSN, it''s a bit busy already. -
Yep, a big name or a big "name", or both. -
McNally promised a shirt lettering deal the same as for RvW so we must be signing a big name today. -
KK could not afford to live in Harrogate. -
Thanks to PC for digging up that interview. Notice that there is no "promise of a marquee CAM" just a "plan to bring in an AM and two wide players". We tried to get Toivonen (an AM) and then Quagliarella (SS) but failed so the intent (and the funds) were there. We have one wide man in Redmond and possibly another in Olsson depending on how you look at it. -
An AM and two wingers. That was the plan anyway. -
Any player can have a decent pass completion ratio if they are short, safe and sideways. As all the players are now being encouraged to press and move further up the pitch it''s only natural that the ratio will get skewed. There is no doubt that Fer is our best midfielder (the most complete) and Tettey and Johnson are similar in their limitations but one plays right side, the other left. Perhaps CH just asks the bipedal Fer which side he wants to play before the match and then picks his partner accordingly? -
RvW is a clever player, he makes space for himself so easily, when our attacking midfielders get in tune with him I''m sure the goals will flow. -

Not a numbers man I presume? -
Phillip J Fry wrote the following post at 31/08/2013 7:44 PM:"...his most maligned attribute (his passing) was incredibly good."Got to disagree there. His passing is nowhere as bad as his shooting at goal. -
QHcanary - VMT. Good post. -
