Ha ha ha . No please stop . The Binner on a Norwich message board accuses a norwich fan of being on the norwich message board. Brilliant stuff. And calls the norwich fan a weirdo ? Ha ha ha ha ha .
Actually it weido apparently. But we get the gist.

Where did I accuse you of being a Norwich fan on the Norwich message board? Can you actually read?

We have Norwich fans on TWTD but i've never seen Town fans that act like you around them. Proper strange, but whatever floats you boat.

Norwich has a capital N by the way, and the word you are looking for after actually is 'it's'. Happy to help.

  2.  I said before the game on here that I was no longer as confident of victory and predicted a draw,. I'm sure you know that but it doesn't suit your petty agenda does it. If im sad for being on this board, what does it make you, searching through months old posts to try and score an internet point? Pretty pathetic really.

At the start of the season. I'd guess most binners fans would've been happy to comfortably stay up. However having been 10+ points clear of 3rd half way through the season the goal posts have changed. Now if they dont go up they've choked/bottled it, call it what you want. The season would be a failure and their fans should be livid. I'd actually question the manager/players ability to perform under any kind of pressure.

Weirdly If they have to go up I hope it's automatically so they dont get their day out at wembley. They must be one of the only league teams not to play there now. Long may that continue.

Awful take from start to finish.

Couldn't beat us over 2 legs during the season yet they think they'll do it over 2 legs in the PO with real pressure on 🤔🤔🤔

    1-0.

    Yep looks that way 😂

I didn't say we WOULD beat you, I just said i'm not sure why so many of you are now so certain that you would win. Your unbeaten run has to come to an end at some point, and there is a reason why we have 20 more points than you this season.

Whilst you do seem rather sensible, on McKenna finding answers, he has actually got worse against us, what makes you think he could turn it round when the pressure is REALLY on? Whilst we know you have no right to be up where you are (+18 over xG isn't it?) your fans should also know that and if you don't go up this year then McKenna will get poached and you will drop back down to where you should be with the squad you have. We had the same with Lambert, occasionally managers come along and hit the right club at the right time, that is McKenna with you now and once he is gone so will you be...

I just don't think we would play that badly again over two more games. I also know that if we really hit top form in the home leg we could put 2 or 3 past you without reply.

There is no guarantee Kckenna goes if we stay down, he certainly could do but it is by no means certain. It would have to be the right club for him, he doesn't strike me as the type that would jump ship just for a few extra bucks.

If he did go then I also don't see us struggling too much, I mean we would not likely hit the same sort of level/points total as this season but I still feel we would be competitive and in the top half. Of course, as is always the case, recruitment would be much very much key to this, both in terms of a new manager and new players.

They really are. Fans moaning about subs and McKenna has lost the plot. In his head, players head and fans head. They are going to blow it aren’t they.

No we are not. We have already exceeded all expectations so as far as I am concerned what will be will be, and I will be proud our players whatever happens from here on in. Every team has its section of idiot fans who know **** all about football and sh!t the bed everytime the team don't win 5-0, but most sensible fans i know are realistic and know that we are punching well above. You guys can talk all you like about us bottling it etc. but deep down you know that we have no right to be up there challenging the 3 relegated teams and the fact we are irritates you immensely. So you can frame it however you like but finishing 3rd or 4th will not be even close to bottling it for a side just up from league one. I'm not even writing us off for top two either, this team is perfectly capable of 4 wins on the spin.

I have to say most of you guys seem awfully ****-sure of yourselves following the derby. I mean fair play, you deservedly won the game on the day and Wagner also won the tactical battle against Mckenna, but should we meet in the play-offs do you really expect him to do so 2 more times? If there is one thing about Mckenna he usually finds the answers and finds a way to win games, I don't think you will be able to play the same way 2 more times and expect us to play as badly as we did last week. Just my view, and maybe I am wrong but i'd be keeping my poweder somewhat dry if I were you. You won the battle but the war may not be over yet.

    Comments in their press conference.

’Won’t mention 13 games they haven’t beaten Norwich, before the game’

’Can’t think about their winless run’

We are completely in their heads aren’t we. They are going to crumble playing us. They can’t get over they are losers against Norwich. ‘Let’s try our best not to think about them’. ‘It’s just another game’.

Can’t wait to see their season come to an end on Saturday.

Whatever happens on Saturday our season will not 'come to end'. Lets not be silly.

It may just mean we get to do it all again in the play-offs : )

    LET’S BE ‘AVIN YOU!!!

I do find it a little strange, it was the same on here before the last derby, a lot of doom and gloom and yet you still got a result. It was perhaps more understandable then as you had injuries and were not in good form, but as it stands now I see no reason for NCFC supporters not to be quietly confident. I really do see this a real 50/50 game and wont be at all suprised if its another draw.

    If only lol

Manchester United have a concrete interest in appointing Ipswichmanager Kieran McKenna as their new boss. The Northern Irishman, 37, used to work at the club as an assistant coach under Jose Mourinho and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. (Football Insider)

I can't see that, United would have to eat an awful lot of humble pie to hire a coach they let go as their next manager. They will still want a bigger name and/or somebody with top level management experience in my opinion.

Brighton on the other hand is a real concern. It looks like De zerbi will be on his way and McKenna seems like an ideal fit for them on paper. I do agree with other posters that if we don't don't go up it will be really difficult to keep hold of him, but we shall see.

  10. I genuinely can't call this game, you are strong and home and we have not been great away from home recently so I think that makes it a very even contest regardless of league position. I'm not just saying this to gain favour but if you really bring your A-game to the table you could possibly edge it, but you will need to kill us off when on top because as you have seen this Ipswich team never gives up and are supremely fit.

It will be intriguing to see how this one plays out tactically as well. We are not the best possesion team in the way Leicester and Southampton are so no need for you guys to sit deep, I would expect you to take the game to us but on the other hand if you push too many forward we can be pretty good on the counter. My heart says 1-3 but my head says another 2-2.

  11. Hmm....I am hugely conflicted on this one. I can't bring myself to actually want you boys to win but it would actually be the best result for us if you did. For what its worth I think you will actually get something today, you are in good form and the Leicester fans have basically lost the plot, it wont take much for them to turn if you make a good start. I will watch this one with much interest.

Tagged you in the post. The difference ended up 63 points. So the debt was £63. Of course when it became obvious there was no payment coming the good people of this messageboard made it up so that our charity didn't miss out. However that doesn't make it right. Does it?

No it doesn't, and I agree its a very poor show. Send me a link to the charity and as a gesture of goodwill I will make a donation.

    Rum old thread this.

I guess if your position is that you think binners should be banned on principle from this forum, fair enough. I don't agree, but it's a consistent opinion.

But @BlueHope76 seems to me to have conducted him(?)self pretty reasonably on this forum. There was an exchange a few weeks back I vaguely recall where he might have got a bit riled up, but other than that I haven't seen anything untoward. Certainly no gloating (unless just posting here when the binners are having their first good season of the century is a form of gloating).

I guess discretion might be the better part of valour in the week leading up to the derby, but I've always felt that fans of other clubs are welcome here as long as they are good guests.

Anyway, that's enough of that. Hope we stuff 'em on Saturday and the long unbeaten run continues. Looking forward immensely to shattering their dreams in comic style in the play-offs. OTBC

Thanks, but why did you have to go and spoil it right at the end there 🙂

It was @King Keano and he made it back alongside the others back in December. Scuttled off again with no offer to pay up. And the others including Mr "aren't I reasonable" Bluenohope made no offer either. I know the good posters on this board put that right but that doesn't let these binners off the hook. In fact it should make them totally ashamed...

I'm not sure why you should expect me to pay up for a bet I didn't make. I agree that its a poor show from whoever King Keano is but not really my responsibility just because I happen to support the same football team.

Out of interest, what was the bet and how much was it for?

To begin at the beginning, "matey,"  You don't get it, do you? You gyrate with some ease, though.

As for value? You clearly admire yourself and your postings.

Please do hold your breath. Ten minutes should be enough.

    "Ta da." I hope that's a promise.

P.S. Do you really understand the role of a private equity firm has in football, though I know they can benefit some businesses, but cannot see it with football club:

    Quick Google:

"Private equity investments are traditionally short-term investments with typical holding periods ranging between three and five years. Within this defined time period, the fund manager focuses on increasing the value of the portfolio company in order to sell it at a profit and distribute the proceeds to investors.**** Furthermore, private equity firms have come under increased scrutiny in recent years, with many critics arguing that they are motivated primarily by short-term gain and have little regard for the long-term health of the companies they acquire."

None of us would be experts, of course, but this would alarm me if it happened to NCFC to the extent that I'd rather have old Delia for a few more years.. Less control, more fingers in the pie, short-term gain for ITFC, even more long-term uncertainty in a very precarious business environment.

    **** See Thames Water.

i'll ignore the unpleasantness and resist the urge to threaten to 'report' you for it.

Three to five years you say, and they presumably then sell their holdings at a profit so I guess the target is to be an established PL club within three to five years. I think I can live with that. I genuinely don't see the downside as they only profit when the club is successful.

Well you seem to have triggered a good old fashioned pile in on this one so i'll leave you to it. I tell you what I will return next weekend, win loose or draw and maybe we can discuss the game? Or maybe you could just ignore me and let others who do want a want sensible discussion have a go.

    1. Damn cheek. I don't have to provide you with evidence of anything. You are an intruder on this forum, not particularly welcome and, besides, your whole contribution thus far has been one big gloat, no matter how you dress it up.

    2. I explained the "lucky" bit. It was clearly above your head. We were lucky the way Daniel Farke turned out, even though it was the result of careful planning and research. All managerial appointments are a gamble. All gambles require some luck to come off.

    3. Concern yourself then. It's your club that's involved in Pension Funds and big business, the same way Annatasio's takeover of our club causes us some concern even though he is not a faceless pension fund and an unknown private equity firm and even though our "business" takeover is not tangled up in as many layers and individuals as yours seems to be. If you don't know what a private equity firm is, then perhaps you should read "Big business for Dummies" after all.

For the first time ever on this forum after many, many years and even after receiving some abuse during those years, I have considered reporting a post. You have become a pest who never gets the message. You persist and persist and persist without seemingly incapable of working out that you are unwelcome here, have taken up too many column inches are, indeed gloating despite the fact that you kid yourself you desire reasonable debate.

Whatever you say matey, report away if it makes you happy. The bottom line is you have not one example of me gloating on here despite your claims and i'm pretty sure whoever you report me to will be able to look through my posts and see nothing that even comes close to violating the site standards.

Other posters have said that they value some of my posts and the interaction so the fact that you have deemed me unwelcome says more about you than anything else. Perhaps you could just use the ignore function rather that jumping on all of my posts which are pretty infrequent anyway.

PS. I know what a private equity firm is but i'm still waiting for you to explain exactly what it is that you think they are going to do to ruin my football club. I won't hold my breath.

    Ta da.

It's like peeing into the wind with you.

    (1) Of course, many of us on here enjoy discussing the fortunes of your club on our forum, but not with a gloating ITFC fan who has only appeared on here now that the fortunes of your club are on the up.

    (2) Of course all due research was involved with the selection of McKenna, but no more so than carried out by us when selecting Daniel Farke or even Alex Neil. That doesn't guarantee a good fit or that it will work out though, so a certain amount of good fortune needs to be involved. It's friggin' obvious, it's football, it's a gamble, and we were surely lucky that Farke turned out to be the manager he was, or that Wee Alex turned our fortunes around the way he did.

Finally, you don't need to be a financial expert to be concerned by the involvement of a private equity firm in your club. That's "Big Business for Dummies" level. What next?

"It's like peeing into the wind with you" More than a touch of irony here...

1- Please provide some examples of me gloating. I have said repeatedly on here that we are punching above,  that play-offs would be exceeding expectations, and that autos would be dreamland. Why would I come on there to gloat when we have not yet achieved anything, still haven't beaten you, and when there is still the potential for you to wreck our season? I have also been on here since 2021 ( pre Mckenna ) so have hardly just appeared now that we are doing well.  This is just a lazy swipe on your behalf without any basis.

2- You claimed it was 'lucky' that we 'hit upon' Mckenna. It wasn't,  it was mainly down to good research and planning on behalf of the CEO, the same as it was with you for Farke. You need a bit of luck along the way but I always believe you make your own luck.

3- I am not really in the habit of concerning myself too much with things outside of my control, but seeing as you clearly know far more than I do, perhaps you could educate me on what I need to be so concerned about and why your recent investment and ownership structure is so much better ( If that is indeed what you believe ).
