1. OK, a bit of a broad question, but seeing as so many people moan about the games but still go I wonder what people think the purpose of the football club is to the?

I am of the opinion that football is supposed to be entertainment. I was a very loyal supporter for many years when I lived in the region go, however since moving away I have come to see the club as a form of entertainment - not something to fill my life. Currently the cost of getting to a game, plus ticket etc does not offer good value for money therefore I don''t go to the games.

What are other peoples opinions on the club? Do you go because the games entertains you? Because it gives you something to talk about at work? Because you feel guilty if you don''t go, or that you are not ''loyal''. Because sitting through the s##t makes the very rare moments of good football all the better? Or are you like me and have now become a ''fair weather'' supporter?

  2. Difficult to say, I believe she bought the club as a fan, and I think it could be anyone of us in the same position if we had the money to buy the club. However, I do think it is time for a change in the board a club like Norwich should be challenging for promotion and board have failed to provide this, not the manager (although I don''t think Roader is up to much).

I do agree that we are stuck with her as nobody will by the club at the moment due the econimic turndown.

  3.
What is more relevant than which section of Carrow Road is loudest is, why do the Barclay and Snakepit so often seem to be in competition with each other singing different songs? This was particularly...
To be fair we do unite in songs most of the time, but normally the best fun is had with banter between us and the barclay. Not many away fans seem to be up for it this season!

  4.
many season ticket holders i know didn''t attend last night, making the attendance even more impressive.
I''ve got a season ticket and didn''t go

I live in Nottingham though so I think I have a bit of an excuse, I saw Forest instead last night! We should all be grateful of what Norwich and Worthy have given us, league 1 is dreadful (and it cost £22 for a ticket!).

  5.
I WAS A WORTHY FAN AND HAVE DEFENDEDHIM ALL SEASON BUT AFTER TONIGHT I MUST ADMIT I THINK HE HAS LOST THE PLOT AND SHOULD SERIOUSLY CONSIDER HIS POSITION! HOW CAN HE DROP MCVEIGH AFTER HIS PERFORMANCE...
I was going to post exactly the same message. My Worthy loving days seems to be fading, however I still have no idea who would be a better person to replace him.

  6. Was down the gym last night (West Bridgford, Nottingham) and Louis-Jean was there. He''s tiny, I can''t see him dominating in the air! Still all the Forest supporters up here reckon he is a good player (sounds like he is going to be like Kenton!).

  7.
Oops! Nolegs, you''re absolutely right mate, it does look like I was having a dig at SS , sorry mate, it wasn''t meant to sound like that at all, and it was never my intention to accuse SS in the s...
No worrys mate, I just asked the question as I was wondering if we were going to have a situation like the Mulryne thing a few years back. It really wouldn''t be productive for any of the supporters to be booing the team, especially when we have so much to play for next season.

I do wonder though whether this situation has been blown out of proportion. I would have thought that going by Worthy''s track record, if he really didn''t want to play for the team or was causing trouble then he would soon be frozen out, where as he hasn''t been.

    I guess time will tell.
