1.
Peresevere through motd to wait to see highlights, only to see a great performance - followed by a montage of goals against us from previous matches - a bit like a slap in the face.
How about instead of relying on MOTD etc you actually try going to a game sometime? You might enjoy it..

  2.
Thanks for the report.  Seems like we have a team worthy of doing well in the cup.  Don''t care if WBA weren''t up for it - we could easily have been the same - as in previous seasons against the likes of MKDons etc.   Bodes well for future rounds, because we plainly have a very, very good squad in depth.
Didn''t you go? Oh that''s right..

  3.
If Mbokani has been making a good impression and is deemed match fit, he ought to be straight in the team today imo. Dorrans is better

defensively imo than Howson, which could be important today.                  RuddyWhittaker  Martin  Bassong  BradyRedmond Tettey Dorrans Jarvis                 Hoolahan                 MbokaniStrong bench, as usual.
I agree with most of that LDC but what''s Jerome done wrong?

Yeah, you need to be able to speak English to play football in England.

  5.
We need to show him more support?!
I don''t know any other set of fans who would be so accomodating for a striker that failed completely in first first season after an 8 mill move, only to go on loan the next season whilst we''re in the Championship, to also fail there (albeit slightly less so than the season with us).
And whilst I agree he seems to have a positive attitude, it''s hardly anything exceptional, is it? Reality is he turned down the opportunity to go back to Sporting because they couldn''t match the wages he''s on. Of course he''s happy, he get''s praised to the hill for a tap in against Rotherham and still picks up 40k a week!
I sincerely hope last night kick-starts his career with us, but I hugely doubt it.

I think by support they mean on the pitch.. as in better service. You little indy wotsit.

  6. Russell Martin was at (in my own opinion) at fault for the goals we conceded at both Bolton and Rotherham away towards the tail end of last season as well both goals in the playoffs against that team from down the road- there are more examples. He is a lovely guy and having met him on more than a few occasions I feel confident in that assertion.  However because of him likely starting as a central defender for us in the top flight I am very concerned about the amount of goals we''re going to leak week in week out.

    We shall see.

  7.

We simply don''t have bucket loads of cash to splash out on ''Marquee'' signings. The club are taking their time and looking sensibly at qualty additions. The new guy Darnbrough has only just turned up so I presume they want to give him a bit of time to see what he comes up with. Rather they take their time than buy any old player simply to appease the fans.
But why don''t we have bucket loads of cash ? this will be our 4th season in 5 in the land of milk and honey yet still we come across as the little club that do not really belong here . If we want to become a Swansea or Southampton and become an established top flight club we are going to have to start making Marquee signings .Quality does not come cheap as we have learned from numerous attempts at appointing cheap managers . Bottom line is if our owners are not up to running a top flight football club they should stand down and let somebody else have a go , they are a millstone around our necks halting progression .
Very very good post.

  8.
Every Premier League club has to set aside £200k to help away fans. Norwich used this money to supply free coaches to Hull the last time they were in the Prem.

Newcastle used the money to give everyone of their away fans a free t-shirt.

Swansea are topping up the fund £100k to subsidise away tickets for fans.

This seems the most sensible approach to me. Free coaches only benefit fans travelling from Norwich, but cheaper tickets benefit all away fans.
Wait... so Norwich fans that don''t travel from Norwich won''t be getting the coaches from Norwich?Well i never.

  9.
I also don''t find it hugely exciting, although it does seem the club are going to do something different this year with the likely half and half kit.

What is likely to be more interesting is the press getting a little time with McNally to ask him about player recruitment and the direction the club is heading in.

Mulumbu officially joins today, so that is something, and transfer will start rolling in over the next few weeks as the window hots up.
I didn''t realise the club were forcing you to either talk or buy the new kit?

  10.

Let''s hope Leicester don''t make a sensible appointment, such as Alladyce or Lennon. There are only four teams in the relegation mini-league next season, the three newcomers and Leicester. We have to finish above Leicester to have a chance of staying up. However, notwithstanding the Leicester matter, without new starters at RB, RCB and striker, we lack the quality needed to avoid the drop.
Shouldn''t be an issue, you''re the only one who rates Lennon that highly. Anyone sensible wouldn''t dare take a risk on him in the prem, not even proven in the Champ yet!
Is that the "indie" viewpoint?
