Still the same problems

Can''t defendLafferty is both useless & a liabilityWhittaker is just useless and out of his depthGrabban must convert chances like that one in the last minutePoor decision making, poor passing & poor crosses all roundApart from that we were totally outclassed

Summed up well there MP. The question here is, should we be being outclassed by Brentford?

Comes under the tag ''can''t defend'', but the same hopeless vulnerability on the recieving end of a counter attack too.Mind we at least controlled games in the middle of the park under Adams. The pendulum swing we saw in that regard today presents a very new problem.

Same problems only worse.

The decision to field Whittaker in midfield was outstandingly stupid -- crassness of the highest magnitude and sure signs of a novice.

Should''ve stuck with Adams & Phelan.

That was a god awful performance! Since when have we been a route one team?? We don''t have the players for that, but it explains the rational of starting with 5 defenders and 5 attackers!

Same as Adams. Why, why, why - didn''t the Manager change it when it was obvious it wasn''t working.

Wouldn''t be surprised if he loses the players very quickly with these odd formations and players being played out of position.

Sorry but with the new guy in charge two weeks, no change of personnel (apart from mini chaos in the backroom staff) and a pretty acute availability crisis in Midfield, what problems did we expect to disappear overnight?

Was Alex Neill expected to have done some intense training with Grabban on his finishing?

Today''s performance was awful, tactics/formation questionable and personnel eyebrow raising, but if we are expecting miracles I think we should be prepared to be disappointed. It was pretty obvious today why Brentford are above us.

Any improvements are going to be incremental not instant and theres going to be plenty more inconsistent performances before the season is out.
