Ginja 43 Posted January 24, 2015 I honestly have absolutely no idea what formation this is... 5-4-1? 4-3-3?
The Bristol Nest 612 Posted January 24, 2015 I thought that our bench looked a bit light on defensive optionms until I re-read the team sheet. 5 defenders? Whits and Martin doubleing as wing backs ?

iron_stan 0 Posted January 24, 2015 mr neil needs to change this straight away, looks out of his depth right nowits not working at allwe could ship 4 or 5 if it carries on this waydefensively naive, midfield just being bypassed
John 0 Posted January 24, 2015 My word Whittaker, complete lack of ideas and cost us dearly for it.
Phillip J Fry 0 Posted January 24, 2015 Midfield duo look terrible. No awareness of opposition players, consistently allowing them to get into space between midfield and defence. Both pushing forward (along with fullbacks) leaving defence horribly exposed. Whitacker wants to press, Johnson wants to sit and keep shape, resulting in huge gaps between the two that Brentford can exploit.

No other senior central midfielders available (why McGrandles is on the bench), although at this point Whittaker is placying so badly you might as well start an inexperienced youngster... Phillip J Fry 0 Posted January 24, 2015 Why are wee leaving such a huge gap between defence and midfield? Brentford are the kind of team that love to get their midfielders into that zone. Johnson and Whittaker have got to realise this and get closer to the defensive line to try and stop Brentford getting into that space in central areas.
