Tetteys Jig 830 Posted January 24, 2015 Apparently that was our pass completion rate today. That literally means we couldn''t string 2 passes together. What an absolute joke!
mrs miggins 0 Posted January 24, 2015 There was many problems today, passing was one of them, movement as well, desire, concentration...it all amounted to a terrible performance that we''re used to seeing on some occasions here at CR.
Jim Smith 2,314 Posted January 24, 2015 Not surprising given most of them were 50 yard aimless hoofs over the top for the strikers to chase.
kantata soul 0 Posted January 24, 2015 The trouble with a direct style is that you still need to be able to pass the ball when required. You''re more prone to losing that ability if you rely on being direct and that''s what''s happened to us. When we''re pressed we can''t pass our way out of trouble and counterattack as easily. ZLF 271 Posted January 24, 2015 To be honest neither of the two central midfielders (BJ nor Whits) made themselves available forcing the back 5 to hoick a long ball too often. Whits passing appeared better than BJs who was at his very worst again. With that passing potential and the desire to avoid receiving the ball its no surprise we struggled to pass retain the ball or get out of own half.Brentford did well to pressure BJ & whit and we couldnt change that pair.
