GJL Mid-Norfolk Canary

a lack of transfer activity this week is inexcusable....

Recommended Posts

.....the central midfield situation is unfortunate and we''re unlucky to have 4 players out at the same time in this department ....but if it looks as though those players won''t be fit in time for next weekend then a loan signing is a must.

however...

it is unbelievable that we''re now at the end of January and we are STILL playing Lafferty on the left wing?!?!?.........a left sided midfielder was a priority in the summer and has been all through season during which time we were playing the aforementioned Lafferty,Hoolahan and Johnson out there.

It is a blindingly obvious signing that needs making as it would provide a balance throughout the whole team.

. Unforgivable if nothing happens to solve this ,this forthcoming week.

Neil said any transfer activity will be done at the end of the transfer window as that''s what normally happens as well as the fact that he needs to assess the team. (basically stop moaning)

dont think it takes 3 weeks to identify that we haven''t got a left midfielder at the club?....and I''m fairly sure that transfers have taken place elsewhere during January so far?...

Hang on - we have already spent over £17M this season and brought very little quality - AN does not know this market

Do you really trust our scouting network - I don''t ?

We cant just chuck another £5M into the black hole

He needs to look at loans not splash the cash

Basically Neil says transfer activity will be done in the last week or few days, so basically I don''t know what you expect.

I suspect that the squad will have to unwind for financial reasons over the next couple of windows as the managerial appointment last Summer has made automatic promotion nothing more than a pipe dream. It is the direction of the club, not the players, that is the underlying problem. Don''t get your hopes up for ''ins''.

Expect the dressing room to become a fair bit more Scottish than it currently is.

to be honest lafferty was the last of our problems, covered olssons arse too often and we were worse when he went off and bennett replaced him; at least lafferty got himself involved, Elliot was sadly and ineffectively invisible.

The problem was deep midfield - the 4141 did not help but tweaking the front 4 when the problem was the back six (without options to change on the bench or squad) was the problem.
