shefcanary 2,393 Posted January 25, 2015 So, Neil got it wrong yesterday. But there were a number of reasons why, not least the lack of 4 holding midfielders. So he gambled effectively on a 4-2-4. It didn''t work, but in the end despite a shocking performance we lost to a dodgy penalty and some very good keeping. It is also one defeat in 3. And I think it was agreed we could still lose 3 times and get in the auto''s. So only 2 blanks left, but not impossible. Finally the defeat yesterday will allow the Neil revolution to start in earnest. The good start and adjusting for Phelan''s departure probably has meant he hasn''t pushed his agenda as forcefully as was required. His comments yesterday implied this was going to happen now.Once Tettey is back we will be stronger in midfield. Also Alex''s no.2 has not arrived yet - anyone know the reason for the delay? Also I think Alex will be more confident in future to play youngster''s in their best positions instead of playing pro''s out of position. We can still do this....... shefcanary 2,393 Posted January 25, 2015 Not expecting it to be in Neil''s approach to allow for as draw - win or bust a la Lambert in his prime!
