Rays Funds for the CSF with the Pink un Pickers Week 25

Recommended Posts

Greetings PUPs

and welcome to week twenty five of our Rays Funds season. This week we have another

of our top PUPs with Chellecity making the final six selections. Chelle is

right up with the very best of our PUPs this season having made 20/24 (83%)

correct selections. As well as being a top PUP Chelle is also part of the

Yellow Army who follow our great team all over the country rain or shine, good

season or bad. I’d love for her to get her name on Ray’s signature and you PUPs

can all help by giving your best selection from the games played on Sat/Sun/Mon

of this weekend and listed on the Bill Hill or Bet365 web site. A repeat of

last weeks form where we had 41/45 good picks would give Chelle an outstanding

chance of adding to our record total this season.

For the match bet this weekend

we have Feedthewolf making the selections. FTW joined us towards the end of last

season and immediately made a great impression and he’s carried that into this

season where he’s proved to be a great asset to our team with 20/22 (93%)

correct selections. So our match bet is in very capable hands this weekend. FTW

has already sent me £12 to treble the bet so please give him your very best

suggestions for City’s match at home to Brentford on Saturday. FTW, you have £6

to spend so you can choose up to six selections either from the PUPs

suggestions or those of your own

I don''t know

individuals circumstances but if any of you can make it you have all been

invited to meet the Down''s Syndrome footballers at their training session this

Saturday morning, 10am at Wensum Lodge. All you PUPs are welcome to come but

please let me know if you intend to so that we can let the coaches know prior

to the session. I will be meeting Emma outside the Wensum Sports Centre at 10am

so those of you who can make it can meet there with us.

The money we

raised last season is being used to pay for a DS fixture against Northampton on

Saturday 7th February, prior to the Blackpool match,

and then to pay for them to all come to watch Norwich play after.

If you missed

the end of last week’s thread, thanks to Woostercanary we won another £36 on

the Monday night game. Added to the £6 we got from the match bet this season’s

total is now officially a record with £646

already in the presentation pot.

Now I’ll hand

this week’s thread over to Chellecity and Feedthewolf. Remember there’s no

pressure because we are all going to be doing our best to help you to success.

We all stand together with the single aim of raising money for the Community

Sports Foundation.

Good luck all

you PUPs... Take it away Chelle and Matt ... the thread is yours.......[:)].......

As great as the FA cup can be for giant killings I just can''t see one at Stamford bridge on Saturday, Jose has always taken the FA cup seriously and put out a strong team so I shouldn''t expect that to change

Chelsea v Bradford - home win

As for the norwich bet 4-0 to us

For my pick this week, I think Juventus will dispose of Chievo at home. Although Chievo, who lie 17th in the table, have a respectable 3-2-4 away record this season, the Old Lady''s home form is pretty intimidating at 7-2-0, and averaging nearly three goals a game. Only Sampdoria and Inter have taken points away from Turin this season, and they''ve scored ten in their last two games, league and cup, against Chievo''s city rivals Hellas Verona. Don''t expect a landslide, but an early goal should set up a worry-free home banker. Odds are around the 1/6 mark. Good luck Chellecity! For the match bet, thank you for the kind words, Nigel – I shall reserve judgement until I have seen all the selections. I''ll aim to get the picks sewn up by around 7pm tomorrow. Hopefully I can add at least a little something to our impressive total!

Im going to stick with the Championship as I''m comfortable there ( for the time being lol ) and will go with Watford to beat Blackpool.

For the Norwich bet, Jerome to score the first goal and us to win 2-1 would be my suggestion.

Good Luck everyone

First off, thanks Nutty for the opportunity of doing this.

Plenty of options so far, but keep them coming. The final 6 will go up Friday evening.

My pick this week is going to be Atletico Madrid to win at home vs Rayo Vallecano.

And for the match bet, surely its about time Michael Turner got himself a goal. Good luck FTW.

Back tomorrow then with the 6 games that we all hope will provide more £££''s to our total.

to league two for me this week and an vastly improving Tranmere side who have been quietly effective in the loan market against a stuttering Hartlepool side who look destine to take Jeff Stelling and all their fans around the non league grounds next year.

Tranmere V Hartlepool Home win

For the match bet I think this game will be won or lost in the wide midfield and with this in mind i''ll go with Lafferty prove the theory of the number 7 bus and get his second goal straight after his first

Lafferty to score at any time.

Good luck pickers.

After a bit of luck on Monday night - thank you for all the kind comments - my 1:3 hit rate suggests this week and next will be barren.

Nevertheless, I''m going to try another draw this week:

St Etienne vs PSG, at 2/1.

Saint-Etienne (4th on 40 pts) have drawn 3/10 at home and PSG (3rd on 41 pts) have drawn 5/11 away. Compelling isn''t it .....

For the Norwich bet I think we''ll win 2-1, at 7/1.

Good luck to everyone, especially Chellecity and FTW.

Fancy Tottenham to beat Leicester in the Cup. The odds of 8/13 looked good, however will have to weigh up whether they will be tired from the mid-week league cup fixture.NFC - I fancy a 2-2.Best of luck all
