thing is with this if the oppo had 2 CM against BJ a quick one two in the middle then you would have 2 CM''s and what ever forwards 1 or 2 ? running at our defence its bad enough now with our 2 slow DM''S let alone 1 !!!
I think the idea of the extra man has merit and letting it be Lafferty is added genius. It would allow us to keep him on the pitch after he has picked up the obligatory yellow and still not be a man light after he gets his second. On the subject if scouts, are we relying on the same bunch who brought us all these recent-year gems? Because if we are, things are even worse now with Alex Neil having little exposure thus far to English football.
It could work if we used the Murphy twins, one could always make sure that he''s not in the referee''s line of vision.

To be fair to tom whittaker and johnson combined is less effective than one actual midfielder so while there are 12 names its still only 10.8 players? perhaps he has spotted a loop hole in the rules none of us were aware of

I think ZLF is referring to the failed experiment in the Asia cup where players were all given a rating and managers were allowed to pick a team as long as the combined rating wasn''t grater than 11, it was abandoned when American Samoa fielded it''s entire nation in a game against Tonga and still lost 27-0.
