David Ginola for FIFA President

Recommended Posts

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30903745I particularly like this idea and am keen to see equality on the football pitch. I also feel it should be taken one step further and in the cause of sexual equality we should abolish "men''s" football and "women''s" football and just have football. Equality where men and women compete on the same teams. The same should be done for all sports. At long last it is now socially acceptable for a man to wear women''s clothes and go into the woman''s toilet and/or changing-rooms because they claim the feel like a woman and vica-versa so why should there be seperate sports based purely on archaic and stereotypical lines of gender? After all you don''t have an all men''s customer service team and an all women''s customer service team, or men''s social services department and a women''s social services department. Indeed if you were to begin employing people along these lines and separating teams based purely on gender it would not be long before you found yourself in trouble with the authorities for displaying and promoting sexist conduct. Why should sport be treated any different to any other business? It''s time sports organisations realised that we are in the 21st century people and that in the name of equality tolerance this kind of sexist behaviour will no longer be tolerated!!!

he can want all he wants, but he won''t be in the running for fifa presidency (as far as I can see). Surely he won''t be allowed to stand because it would break the rules and regs that you need to stand as a candidate, especially with Seb the Slug in charge.

Ginola speaks well. but something tells me with the way FIFA is run will mean Blatter has that job til the day he dies.

as for combining Women and Mens sports, it''s a good idea in principal... but Men tend to be bigger, faster and stronger than women... a 6''5 15 stone centreback clattering into 5''3 8 stone woman striker will do some damage...

not sure how females would feel competing alongside men... and sadly some of the male attitudes that exist within football won''t be changed even by Ginola.

would love to see the Women''s world cup brought to England however! Carrow Road would make a good venue for a game or 2!

This is a joke candidacy. Blatter will get re-elected anyway but this hair-do putting himself forward helps the old rascal by making a mockery of what should be a serious campaign.

he''s also getting very rich in the process with his betting sponsor paying him £250,000. Can''t blame him, but it''s all just a publicity stunt for the betting firm. He can''t run to be a candidate.

Ginola stands down for fifa presidency because of the rules and regulations required. But he''s made his betting firm very happy and made a lot of money in a short space of time. kudos to him.
