Rays Funds for the CSF with the Pink un Pickers Week 26

Recommended Posts

Greetings PUPs

and welcome to week twenty six of our Rays Funds season. This week we have another

real star with Hector Brockelbank in charge and making the final six

selections. Hector’s having a really successful season this time with 20/25 80%

correct selections. Even better than his first season last year where he

achieved 30/38 79%. Now that’s consistent picking! Hector’s also got his name

on Ray’s signature due to his win in the match bet last season. It wasn’t easy

to win at that last year so the those who did deserve great credit. Hector will

need your help to add to the pot and get his name on the first part of Rays

signature. Don’t forget your picks must be played on Sat/Sun/Mon this weekend

and be listed on the William Hill or Bet 365 web sites.

For the match bet this weekend

we have my old buddy and top PUP Lappinitup making the selections. Mick has

been a great supporter on these threads since the very first week and I’m

really pleased he’s having such a fantastic season this time where he’s our

most profitable PUP because his 25 £1 selections have made £7.72 profit. He’s

already has his name on Rays signature for his win in the final six a couple of

seasons ago so please give him your very best suggestions for City’s match away

to Birmingham on Saturday and help him get on the match bet part too. Lapp, you

have £6 to spend so you can choose up to six selections either from the PUPs

suggestions or those of your own.

Feedthewolf’s

win in the match bet last weekend took our total for this season to £673 which

is a tremendous achievement. It was great to get another win directly after

going to the Wensum Centre to see the DS team train. Our money from last season

will pay for their fixture against Northampton next Saturday and pay for them

all to watch the City match against Blackpool later that day. I really enjoyed the

experience on Saturday morning, they are a great bunch to be around and their

enthusiasm and enjoyment is a real pleasure to see. Thanks to all who came and

here’s a picture from the day : -

Now I’ll hand

this week’s thread over to Hector Brockelbank and Lappinitup. Remember there’s

no pressure because we are all going to be doing our best to help you to success.

We all stand together with the single aim of raising money for the Community

Sports Foundation.

Good luck all

you PUPs... Take it away Oliver and Mick ... the thread is yours.......

leave you with Ray’s signature which now reads :-

As usual Pete''s quaint little site won''t format the picture correctly. To view it properly press reply or quote. I''d emailed him pre-empting this issue but got an out of office reply.

Serie A for me this week

Roma (2nd, 7-3-0 22-6 at home) v Empoli (17th, 1-5-3 10-13 away) - Home Win

For the match bet, how about a draw and both teams to score.

Best of luck Hector, Lapp and all you PUPs.

Really enjoyed going to meet Emma and the DS team last week. Thanks for arranging it Eddie. Although, I did detect a strong whiff of Bin!

I''m going with my good mate Hissing Sid this week

ROMA v Empoli - HOME WIN

For the Norwich bet, I like the idea of a cover like last week so Birmingham win, both teams to score.

Good luck all

Good luck everyone.

As I picked this game 3 weeks ago I''m going to stick with it now:

Mainz 05 draw with Paderborn, at 5/2, and

2-1 win for us at 15/2.

This week it''s to league 2 for me and a difficult trip to London for Scunthorpe but with Scunthorpe beginning to move away from the relegation zone I''ll take them to put more pressure on the O''s

Orient V Scunthorpe Away win.

For the match bet I''ll take Redmond to score the last goal against his old club.

France for me this week. Marseille are W10 D0 L1 F25 A8 at home while Evian are W2 D0 L9 F11 A25 away.

Marseille           v             Evian           Home Win

For the match bet the first and second half records are interesting. Birmingham are F20 A14 in the first half of games while in the second half they are  F11 A25. Norwich are the opposite F17 A18 in their first halves but F33 A16 in the second. This suggests that HT/FT could be Draw/Norwich @ 9/2 or Birmingham/Norwich @ 22/1.

Going away again where I hope that SWINDON can profit from Sheffield United''s midweek exertions and our lads on loan can carry them to a win. At 17/10 it''s risky but I think it represents reasonable value.

For the Norwich bet, I''m expecting a reaction and think a win is well within our compass. We should have beaten them at Carrow Road and I reckon we can run out fairly comfortable 3-1 winners.

Good luck everyone, especially Hector and Lapps.

As for Norwich, Nutella''s HT/FT Birmingham/Norwich looks cute and good value.

The odds I like best this week are Ipswich to beat Wigan at home at 4/5.

Before anyone judges me, betting on the scum eases the pain of losing if it goes wrong, because at least they lost too.
