The Huckerby-esc boost

Recommended Posts

Is something we certainly need this season an inspirational spark that''s lacking at the minute, Ashton was another good one. Bents certainly given Derby a lift and we need something to at least get us in the play offs seen as how the board managed to derail the auto''s for us with their utter incompetence.

So quiet on the transfer front I am not even sure we will bring anybody in but I do agree.........We need someone !!!!!

Either deals are being done or they are not. Why won''t they tell us something?

If only we''d got Darren Bent eh?! Ironically, a player that would probably get less boos than our current players.

We will bring in a couple of cheap no marks from the scottish Prem, possibly Hamilton.

This will be the boards yet again cheap option with no real effort or ambition to get the 9 point gap back and win promotion.

There has been none for 15 years so I can''t see it starting now!

Do we need any more Billy Big Bollox that don''t perform?

Yeah we really pushed the boat out as a 3rd season Prem team, enough to get relegated again! Look at how far swansea progressed passed way past us in the same amount of time.

We also spent nothing in January during our relegation season, despite having a load of strikers lacking confidence and failing to get the goals needed.

This was created by a clearly failing manager that we held onto while other clubs went and got Pulis. An appointment that would have almost certainly guaranteed our safety.

Most believe this was due to the fact the compensation was much less if we sat in the relegation positions. We could all see with the fixtures what was coming but penny pinching again over compensation probably cost us 60 million!

There decisions and penny pinching ends with the same failures time and time again.

We then give our chief executive a bonus probably in the region of what the compensation would have been for achieving some good figures!

The club make such mouth dropping decisions again and again.

Very well put 5year!! Just about sums it up for those that have had their eyes open. Shame some are still oblivious to any of the boards misgivings

Isn''t it all so easy with the benefit of hindsight and sat behind a keyboard to come up with this stuff?! If you have such foresight and fantastic business acumen, you surely have applied this expertise to your own circumstances and ought to be in some sort of position to buy the club....

It often just suits an agenda Branston.

Many mistakes have been made and will be again in the future. It''s the nature of the beast.

Best thing for the frustration I believe is this...BOOOOOOO!

Do you believe that McNally deserved a bonus for keeping wages down then???

It does not take a rocket scientist to work out that Pulis was the best man to stop the rot and keep us up. The board again did nothing! Oh yes they did actually, they scoured Europe but nobody was available. Then appointed someone that was available at the time to not only save us but then after no wins in 4 get us back! This was apparently the best manager available in a continent! lol

They take the fans for mugs with spin stories based on penny pinching stories. One that has led them to a lower footing than Crystal Palace. A club with a corrugated iron shed for its grounds toilets and that was minutes from being no more a few years ago.

How they have done that is beyond me. In actual fact it is not. its through cheap option decisions on the ones that matter and ones we now reward the decision makers for failing on!

So in summary we definitely would have got pulis, he definitely would have saved us and we are looking for players that aren''t in a higher or lower division than we are now that have an arrogant swagger but are also grounded and not a big time charlie.

Glad we got that all cleared up.

No sorting of a shambles defence, No left Mid. Back to the dark days. Its so easy in football to see which clubs are on the up and which are heading in the other direction. A shambles of a transfer window

It''s good to see that buying players is the only way to improve the side, in some pea-brained heads probably reared on Championship Manager.

Maybe it was a good transfer window as we kept Ruddy, BJ, Bassong, Martin, Hooper, Redmond.....

I get the frustration people see when the club dont spend big to push up the table... but thats not the way norwich work. Take a glance down the league, league 1 and league 2 and look at all the fallen giants with huge debts... i can see why the board use caution.
