Bradwell canary

Redmond, Zaha and Ince

Recommended Posts

Let hope that Redmond will have seen what happen to the other two careers since leaving for bigger clubs. Hardly any games and back pretty much where they started. OK made plenty of money I guess, but career wise achieved nothing.

It''s the story of far too many English players..

Ince, Zaha, Rodwell, Sinclair, Wright Phillips, Carroll.. just to name a few.

Money''s slowly ruining football.

Hopefully if the worst does happen and he finds himself needing to move to get premiership football, it''s to a team that needs him for the first team.

I think he''s best served staying with us and getting his confidence up in front of goal.

Scott Sinclair - Estimated Transfer Cost £3 million

Wilfried Zaha - Estimated Transfer Cost £3-6 million

Aaron Lennon - Loan (Est Value £3-7 million)

Tom Ince - Compensation paid to Blackpool was approx. £2 million.

Yet a handful of Norwich fans think Redmond, is worth at least ten million?

If you compare an in-form Sinclair for example, granted its been a few years since ''form'' happened for him, but at Swansea in the championship and Premier League he was incredible, double figures for goals and assists. Now compare that to Mr Ten Million... A couple of goals and assists this year, he looks comfortable at this level - yet people still think he''ll be off to Liverpool...

Saying that Liverpool only paid £5 million for Sterling... Which makes the £10+ for Redmond even more laughable...

If you take off the canary spectacles, Redmond hasn''t actually added anything really to the £3 million price tag we apparently paid for him. He''s still raw, still dangerous and threatening but his final product is woeful.
