Rays Funds for the CSF with the Pink un Pickers Week 28

Recommended Posts

Greetings PUPs

and welcome to week twenty eight of our Rays Funds season. This week we have JB

in charge and making the final six selections. Now I’ve been looking forward to

JB’s week since he was unlucky last season where his week to pick the final

six coincided with probably the worst week we ever had as a team. Only 39%

of  PUPs picked a good selection that

time giving him an impossible task. JB has been in top form this season with

his personal picks as he’s on 22-27 81% and is in great current form having

picked correctly in each of the last six weeks. So let’s all try and make this

an easier week this time by giving JB our very best selection from games played

on Sat/Sun/Mon this weekend and be listed on the William Hill or Bet 365 web

sites.

For the match bet this weekend

we welcome back Jas The Barclay King who was all ready to make the selections

last month when unfortunate circumstances prevented him. But I’m pleased Jas

has agreed to pick up the baton again this weekend and try to follow up on Lapp’s

win last week. We can all help by giving our best suggestions for our beloved

Canaries match against Wolves on Saturday. Jas, you have £6 to spend so you can

choose up to six selections either from the PUPs suggestions or those of your

own.

It seems every

week we add to the total raised for the CSF. Last week we had Lapps win,

Splutcho’s pledge and donations from Dundee and Gerry from Romania meaning we

added £62 making the current total £767. What more can I say except that’s

truly amazing!

Last Saturday I

watched the DS match that last season''s funds paid for between Norwich and Northampton. We lost

the match 10-7 but that didn’t seem to matter because the players had so much

fun. Their enthusiasm was infectious and I had a wonderful time. I can’t wait

for the next one and I’m so proud of you all for helping make this happen.

Now I’ll hand

this week’s thread over to JB & Jas. Remember there’s no pressure because

we are all going to be doing our best to help you to success. We all stand

together with the single aim of raising money for the Community Sports

Foundation.

Good luck all

you PUPs... Take it away JB and Jas ... the thread is yours.......[:)].........

Benfica to win at home to Vitoria Setubal. Benfica are 8-1-0 at home, scoring 21 and conceding only 2. They haven''t conceded a league goal at home since September, would you believe? Setubal are 0-3-7 away, scoring 4 and conceding 20.Considering Barcelona are 1/40 for their home banker this weekend (and Real 1/12 and Bayern 1/9), odds of 2/11 seem a trifle generous. For the match bet, again I think the ''Norwich to win and both teams to score'' odds are a little generous. We don''t look like a team who are going to deal in 1-0 wins at the moment, and with the home win at 17/20 I think odds of 13/5 are rather smart.

Also, good luck Jas with the norwich bet... i''ll go for a sneaky 2-1 home win.

Sunday morning in Spain for me JB. Valencia W9 D1 L1 F26 A8 at home should be too strong for Getafe W2 D2 L6 F9 A16 away.

Valencia          v           Getafe            Home Win

For Jas I''m going to suggest a wincast with Hooper scoring the first goal in a Norwich win.

The Belgian Second Division.AS Eupen to win at home against Woluwe-Zaventem.AS Eupen in second and still with a good chance of taking the one promotion place. A home record of 7-4-1 and 25/9, and in very good form, winning their last two home games by 5-1 and 4-1.Woluwe-Zaventem bottom and close to getting cut adrift. An away record of 2-1-9 and 8/26, and have lost both of their last two away, against teams in the bottom half of the table, by 3-1.Current odds are 1/6.---For the NCFC bet I like the look of a final score of Norwich City 2 Wolverhampton Wanderers 1, currently at 7/1.Good luck to all!

My pick comes from the top league in Croatia, where Dinamo Zagreb play Zadar.

Dinamo are top and unbeaten with a GD of +38, Zadar are one of the bottom with a GD of -31. I''m going for a home win, odds are 1/6.

Good luck to all PUPs especially JB.

Morning Everyone

MMMK - BAYERN MUNICH -v- Hamburg HOME WIN

MM - Lorient -v- LYON AWAY WIN

For the Norwich bet, I think both teams will score, but at the moment that''s awful odds!! Hooper to score first, Norwich to win 2-1 is a little bit better!!

Good Luck jb and Jas and to all our PUPs

Good morning Pups, looking for value again this week and one match stands out amongst a lot of very tricky matches

Chesterfield V Orient Home win (1/1 with Ladbrokes)

For the match bet I can see a tight match ending in a 1-1 draw (and missing the chance to take advantage of a Watford slip up.)

Bradford v SUNDERLAND

AWAY WIN

Risky but at 11/10 looks a reasonable punt.

For the Norwich bet Russell Martin to score anytime. He''s had a few chances in the last few weeks so he must be due.

Good Luck All.
