TCCANARY 263 Posted February 12, 2015 If only to right this terrible wrong. Katie Borkins 1 Posted February 12, 2015 Jock McSporran will be back, and in greater numbers.
Lessingham Canary 99 Posted February 13, 2015 Derby will get promoted and then at least there will be a manager with a Scottish sounding name in Maclaren, to go alongside Alex Neil ! so normal service to be resumed.
TCCANARY 263 Posted February 13, 2015 It''s OK, we can all relax, Villa have appointed (albeit on a temp basis) a Scot called Scott.
Chip20 69 Posted February 13, 2015 How quickly things change. I vaguely recall that when Lambert was with us in the top flight, half (or possibly more) of the Premier League clubs were managed by a Scot. I think one of the footy shows (probably Football Focus) ran a feature on it.
Canary Jedi 578 Posted February 13, 2015 That''s right Chip it was a brilliant trivia question. Not only were there 7 Scottish managers in the Prem they were all Glaswegian! So let''s start the game, who can remember the other 6 in the Premiership year that Lambert was our manager? Canary Jedi 578 Posted February 13, 2015 It was quite amazing really - 7 Scotts is already unusual but 7 managers out of 20 from the same city ....Deep fried mars bars must have been hard to find that season ;-)
