daly 500 Posted November 23, 2014 Have no idea if Phelan is the answer but does seem strange with dozens of Manager jobs coming up in the period since Mr Moaner retired from ManU no one came in for him. He now is in a Win Win situation, should City start a revival he will be seen as the saviour and should we continue our downward trend then it will all be blamed on Adams. Also if we do appoint a proven Premiership/Championship Manager they will want to bring their own backroom staff so where does that leave Phelan
lake district canary 4,531 Posted November 23, 2014 If Adams carries on struggling and Phelan does not help improve things, he will be seen in the same light as Adams and Holt, rather than the next saviour. The writing is on the wall for all of them.
mrs miggins 0 Posted November 23, 2014 Agree with LDC.Its not phelan v Adams, they are all adams'' back room staff. I hope Phelan can provide Adams with the answers to our defensive problems. If Adams is sacked then I hope Phelan won''t be considered for being the next manager. The new manager (not that the board are at that point yet to make that decision) will then decide if they want him or not.
