Bradwell canary 109 Posted November 25, 2014 It quite clear that there must be some deep rooted reason why Hooper is not selected in place of Grabban. It may well be that Hooper was not NA signing andGrabban was. Surely this is not in thetrue interest of the club given Grabban current form.NA should be above all that.NCFCfirst and politics 2ndIt clear that Eddie Howe knew what he was doing selling us Grabban and Buying a player from Coventry for a great deal less who is performing a great deal better. We should have got Eddie Howe from Bournemouth not Grabban!!
ron obvious 1,501 Posted November 25, 2014 It is quite clear that you didn''t see Hooper during pre-season. He was the flabbiest professional footballer I''ve ever seen - far worse than Grant Holt, or even John Hartson. Disgraceful.Fortunately he seems to have lost the excess weight, but it will necessarily have taken him a ling time to regain fitness (especially with his injury). He clearly has the ability, but to ever have let himself go in the manner he did shows a terrible lack of professionalism.
Tetteys Jig 830 Posted November 25, 2014 Came here to say the same. Hooper was badly out of shape and Adams is right that Grabban does offer you constant effort. Also, Callum Wilson was £3m, the same as Grabban.

Syteanric 1 Posted November 25, 2014
We tried to buy Wilson too but he opted for AFCB
and for me that''s telling.. we are a perceived "bigger" club yet he opted not to take the possible money move and move for footballing reasons...looking at the league table he''s made the right choice.
