According to their message boards, Wigan have tabled a 5 million pound bid for Dean Ashton. 

If this is true, and worse, City go for it,  then any chance we had of getting back to the promised land, will go straight down the bloody toilet!.

As I have always understood it, Ashton cannot be sold within 12 months as he is still under 25.

From what the high and mighty at Norwich have told me in the past there is no way Ashton will be going anywhere for a sum as low as £5 million.
