Essex Canary 0 Posted December 1, 2014 It seems to me that that many Norwich players need one hell of a rocket. They are a disgrace to the club and an embarrassment to the fans. How many times do we have to listen to tub-thumping vows of intent only to witness pathetic, gutless, lazy, insulting performances? The issue is this: the board may well see what we see but they will not take the action against the players that they ought to because it will cost too much. It is cheaper to axe the manager and hope that his replacement will be string to sort out these charlatans. It is absolutely disgusting that directors of a proud football club would countenance professional sportsmen deliberately playing in such a way as to secure the removal of a manager that they don''t want. No board has yet been strong enough to put the blame squarely where it belongs. Players who think that fans are unhappy because of a couple of poor results are deluded and completely disconnected from the fanbase. Adams has tried to deliver on his promises but has been undermined, occasionally by bad luck, occasionally by poor decisions, but mostly by his own players. It sickens me to see it. It is a stench that permeates every corridor of Carrow Road. This is the humble opinion of a season ticket holder of 40 years. Make of it what you will. Essex Canary 0 Posted December 1, 2014 "String" should be "strong enough to". Apologies
The Bristol Nest 512 Posted December 1, 2014 If what you believe is true them I agree entirely. I am not convinced as yet. I would suggest that they are not as good at playing football as we assumed that they were.

Canary001 0 Posted December 1, 2014 Manager , they have not got one , wouldnt expect a builder tp perform brain surgery and you dont expect a radio co commentator to manage a football club . Bugger Off Adams -NOT WANTED
Horse Renoir 1 Posted December 1, 2014 Both.Hughton was nothing more than a great coach, he wasn''t a manager and Adams doesn''t appear to even be as good as Hughton! We''ve suffered from weak leadership, complacency and a lack of focus/direction for a long while now.The core of this team has some serious deficiencies and hasn''t ever looked like clicking as a team even if, individually they''re all decent footballers. The core from our downturn Martin, Turner, Olsson, Whittaker, Johnson, Tettey and Redmond is a group that has consistently under performed and failed since they''ve been signed. We need an experienced, pragmatic proven manager like Pulis and to do quite a bit of ''trading'' in January to re model this side

Essex Canary 0 Posted December 1, 2014 Thanks Puppet Out. He was a successful youth coach and former player in his first managerial role. There are plenty of examples of such people who have proven themselves to be good managers in time, if the board have the guts and the fans have the patience. lake district canary 4,518 Posted December 1, 2014 Which comes first....the chicken or the egg? Its a mixed bag of expectations, nerves, lack of confidence, pressure, personality clashes, new players trying to settle, young players finding their feet, older players trying to regain form and fitness, the team coming to terms with lesser known teams due to their relative lack of TV coverage. In short it is the players..........but they are not robots......and that is why it needs an experienced man manager to get the best from them. The manager has to be up to the task of juggling all the balls to get good displays. If the players can''t sort it out it won''t be for the want of trying - so they need the right guidance and focus - and they look up to a manager to give them that. That is what marks out a coach from a manager and why not everyone can do it well. Bassong may have said something about Adams when he was appointed, but he may have had a point - players need a manager they can respect. A first team coach being promoted will be known to the players and be an easier transition than the youth team coach being catapulted into the hot seat. The players get the stick when they don''t play well, but to me it looks as if the manager doesn''t have their respect, doesn''t inspire them with confidence and therefore can''t get them focused well enough. vlad666 202 Posted December 1, 2014 The trouble with appointing from within is that Adams opinions were biased towards certain players. After relegation we needed a clean sweep through the team and to build again. Maybe these players are good in training but fail in the game. There are major problems which weren''t addresssed and we''re paying the price for it.
