Can anyone equate.......

a clubs objective for a Premier League return with the signings of Lafferty (staggering incompetence that one), Jones and Grabban, the continued selection of Whittaker, Martin and Redmond and the wastefull lack of opportunity for our youth team players who just over a year ago were one of the best around. The Reading lad that found it so easy to score against us this weekend is about the same age and taking his opportunity! Adams should learn from that quickly. Time to get Rudd, the Murphy''s, Loza, Toffolo (who is starring for Swindon) and McGeehan back and in the squad sharpish.... they''ll do better than this rabble and we''ll have some legacy and team for next season! Experience!!! is important, if you have ability, skill and a little pace to use it, Our old un''s don''t!

People need to lay off Redmond. Class above any other player on the pitch Saturday. We will regret it hugely if we alienate him and he goes in January.

The problem doesn''t lie in keeping the youngsters back it lies with the fact that whereas it seems logical to let the kids cut their teeth, learn from their inevitable mistakes and prove themselves at the lower league level the same method hasn''t been applied when hiring a manager.

We appointed a man who hadn''t managed a first team in August before let alone ever won a game.

The stakes are too high to needlessly let Adams learn how to be a manager with US. Even when we were in the drop zone of League One we recruited a guy who had gradually learnt his craft at Livingston, Wycombe and Colchester.

Would ANY other club in the top 4 divisions have hired Adams last summer with his CV?

THIS is where the problem lies.
