We are going back to basics

Which seems from the performance and tactics Saturday is to give up passing football ("the Norwich Way") and adopting long ball tactics. Hoofball as decried under Hughton is now the new Norwich Way.

It may be the pragmatic way of stemming the decline of City but will it please the fans in the long run depends if it continues to be successful in the long run. Phelan adopting the tactics of a Tony Pulis.

You do realise that sometimes the opposition dictate the way you play, especially away from home.

Your posts do nothing other than give me the impression that you will never be pleased.

Firstly, there''s no such thing as ''the norwich way'' - thats a myth. Second, I think most of us would love Pulis here because he''s a good manager, he''d get us up and keep us up (wouldn''t want him here any longer than 3 seasons though)

The only thing that pleases the fans is winning.Everything else is secondary.

The sign of a good football team is that they are able to adapt their style play to suit the opposition, the conditions & the league that they''re competing in.If it means we have grind out results, sneak wins & play hoofball to get promotion, that''s fine by me and the vast majority of true fans too
