chicken 0 Posted December 13, 2014
Headline says it all? Adams out
Hmmm.In football, flattering is when the team that had 39% possession and 9 shots of which 3 were on target, wins. They didn''t today. The team that had 61% of the ball and 25 shots were the team that won. The stats do not suggest a flattering. In fact we only hit the target 9 times. It suggests that blocks etc kept that down to 9 shots on target for the stat makers and that we should have scored more, not less.So basically what Morty said, but I like pointing out who unfeasibly silly some trolling is. Len 74 Posted December 13, 2014 It''s going to take more than today''s win to reverse the damage the present owners have inflicted. We''ve got to be able to do more than scrap if we want to get promoted and unless Phelan produces a miracle we''ll keep sinking as better teams overtake us. But even if he delivers it must be remembered that the club has an alarming tendency to shoot itself in the foot when things appear to be going well.
K Lo 248 Posted December 14, 2014 Why don''t you bunch of moaning old windbags follow Coventry, Portsmouth or Stockport, then you''ll really have something to moan about.Pathetic idiots.
Dubai Mark 0 Posted December 14, 2014 Aside of any views on Neil Adams, surely everyone must be very happy that yesterday, like last week was more tactically proficient and ultimately ended up being, what should be, a huge shot of confidence for the team.....and that''s crucial when we have Derby away next......so, flattering?.....no.
