pete 318 Posted December 29, 2014 But not managing to do the same with the City players.Another no show with every player not putting in a shift. Would this have happened under the captaincy of Grant Holt. Desperately need a leader on the pitch to galvanise the team. And a manager off it to do the job Adams seemingly cannot.http://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/reading_admit_the_writing_was_on_the_dressing_room_wall_for_norwich_city_including_neil_adams_quotes_1_3899787
GJL Mid-Norfolk Canary 1,736 Posted December 29, 2014 we''re in bigger trouble than we first thought if our manager is being out thought by a newspaper cutting?!

An experienced manager would - or should - not lay themselves open by making comments like that. That is why a lot of managers speak in politically correct mode - so they don''t give anything away. ellis206 0 Posted December 29, 2014 So let me get this straight, Hughton apparently used to motivate the opposition and demoralise our players by "praising the opposition" all the time. Adams does the opposite, says in so many words that we are a superior team and should be beating teams like Reading, this has therefore motivated the oppostion and made our players believe they can just turn up and win right? God supporters look in to things too much......

Tetteys Jig 830 Posted December 29, 2014 It was a stupid thing to say and a naive mistake. Yet another reason we should have gotten an established manager in summer.

What about that pathetic wail from Holloway less than a week ago about how unfair it was for Millwall to have to travel outside London for a game?
Making Plans 936 Posted December 29, 2014 He only said what everyone on here was thinking and he was right.Anyway, they (Reading) would say that after winning the game, wouldn''t they
Branston Pickle 3,638 Posted December 29, 2014 The thing is this was apparently stuff said before the first game - and IMO Reading were extremely ordinary in that game, they caught Turner out at two corners but offered little else. If they''d not won yesterday we''d have heard nothing about any of this - and Adams has never seemed to me to be over bullish in his comments.
