Rays Funds for the CSF with the Pink un Pickers Week 21

Recommended Posts

I think this week we''ll see Sunderland back up their hard fought derby win against Newcastle with a home thrashing of Hull who are looking like last season never happened. Where have we seen that before?

Sunderland vs Hull- Home win.

And for the Norwich bet I fancy Hooper to score 2 or more at 17/2.

Good luck :)

League Two for me on Boxing Day. Burton are riding high only out of the auto

places on goal difference. Tranmere are struggling with only dear old Hartlepool

keeping them off the bottom. Bill Hill price this game at 10/11 for the home win

though so maybe I''m missing something. On all known form those odds look very

good.

Burton Albion             v              Tranmere

Rovers            Home Win

Keep the suggestions coming for our Boxing Day match against Millwall. I shall consider each one. I saw Wes today! Wished him a Happy Christmas and suggested he scored a

couple on Boxing Day to which he replied "it would be nice"! So Wes will feature

somewhere on my Norwich bets. The last time this happened was when I saw Cameron Jerome before the Birmingham game and he banged in two the next day......
My good friend Nutty, I''m going to miss coming to the Millwall game, but

I''m going to predict a 5-0 City win for you all to enjoy! And because you

need as much help as possible - as an extra incentive I will match any winnings

you get from the City bet (just don''t choose Ryan Bennett hat-trick at 500-1

[:O])If I have got the dates right then the 24th Jan coincides with the

Brentford Home game, so I will make sure I get on the road really early to get

to the Wensum Sports Centre for 10am.Good Luck

all,Leedscanary
Kev, you''re a star buddy and you epitomise all the great things that Rays

Funds stands for. The offer to match my winnings is typical of that support and

your good nature. Of course I''m not confident of winning, but if I were I''d

suggest you double the stake which would amount to the same thing. You do so

much for us I''d not be happy costing you money my friend.

The 24th January is the Brentford game but it''s also 4th round of the FA Cup.

What are the chances.......
Of course, you are correct Eddie - I''ll double the stake for the City bet, that way Bill Hill coughs up for the payout instead of me.Good thinking Buddy - there''s a tenner sitting in your Paypal account so double the City bet then use the rest as you wish

2 of my 3 picks have been covered elsewhere so ill go with my other option. With Beckford and Davis up front and a mouth watering F.A Cup tie around the corner,I''m going For the Lillywhites to be to strong the Tykes

Preston v Barnsley Home win

And for you Nutty with the back line now contributing to our goals tally how about a festive pound or 2 on Olsson to score at any time.

Wishing all pups a very happy Christmas.

Wow, not much choice is there? Don''t know if that''s a good thing or not.

I''m going to the Scottish League One and a home win for Stranraer against Stenhousmuir, top against one from the bottom, odds are 1/2.

Good luck to all PUPs and Gregt especially.

First things first, Season''s Greetings to all PUP''s and a BIG thank you to Nutty for all your efforts with keeping Ray''s Funds for CSF going. I''m sure Arrdee is looking down with a wry smile on his face to see his "little idea" still going strong all these year''s on.

And, as Leedscanary has made the City Bet more interesting, I''d like to double the stake for the main Final Six selections to help GregT win even more money this week for the CSF. (Nutty, if you could DM the bank details, I''ll transfer the money across to you).

As for my pick, I''d like to go for Celtic vs Ross County - Home win.

Good luck all.

That''s awesome Gary. Thank you for your generosity. The spirit on these threads is a joy to be part of. Let''s hope that luck is on the side of our selections.

Brilliant job Greg! Thank you for these. Such a difficult week with so little choice yet these six look nailed on to me. Surely only the cruelest misfortune can do us down this weekend. I''ve placed the bet with Bill Hill where we had a free bet this week and the potential pay out is £46.06 but GMF kindly doubled the bet so with his tenner we are now playing for £102.12. Here are the details : -

Club Brugge

4/9

5:00 Fri

Apples

Anderlecht

2/9

7:30 Fri

Tilly

Hearts

4/9

3:00 Sat

Parma

Celtic

MK Dons

8/13

3:00 Sun

Gregt

Man City

1/6

3:00 Sun

Nicely spread over the weekend to provide us PUPs with even more excitement let''s hope by Sunday tea time we have a doubled up PUPs win and a double City win. Good luck and Merry Christmas everyone[:)]

I found doing the match bet extremely difficult. Sooo many good suggestions and with Kev and Chris sending me an extra tenner it seems a lot of money to risk. Especially now I''ve added my tenner. But I''ve gone ahead and sorted a range of options that will hopefully see a return for our money. Anyway, I''ve ended up with this and any return will be a real team effort.

So that has Smashed the £500 marker for our presentation pot this season. We also got another £10 donation straight into the pot that wasn''t used for the bets today. So thank you Yellowfuture and Leeds Canary for your help with the stake. And thank you all you PUPs for some great suggestions. I counted 22 different ones. If only the ref had called time at 5-0......

A great start to the weekend! Just seen that my pick for the weekend was abandoned after 68 minutes, with the team I picked leading 3-1. Does this count as a correct pick or a void match? And if it''s void, can I pick another one from tomorrow''s fixtures so I don''t lose a week?No worries if not, luck of the draw I guess, but just thought I''d ask the question.

Apparently the bookies rule is void FTW. Guess we have to go with that. But you can certainly pick again from Saturday or Sunday. Hope you find a winner buddy :)
